Ok, I just finished watching it...

All in all, this has been a very rewarding episode! Well, at least for me anyway. If you were hoping for something darker, you're not going to find it here.

yup, a satisfying ending to a satisfying series

Not really a serious series, or anything grand, but I guess this is the kind of show that just make you feel "nice" after watching it

Now wondering how the game will be like

Also proves BONES can make a decent 'happy' ending when they try

I'll really miss this series, it's been a light hearted, enjoyable and often hilarious show amongst the current vein of darker angst driven series. I'll miss Vess most of all, she was the highlight of the series

The soundtracks are pretty good to, the second one has just been released has some really good tracks including a vocal version of Vess's theme.

actually it's not only light-hearted, it's quite hot-blood too. The last scenes of ep26 are quite hot-blood and warm at the same time.

But my favorite episode is still episode 21, the Yagami departure episode, really really hot-blood

I'm a bit disappointed that

Yeah, some of the action in the last few eps has been some of the best in the series. The animation in this series was top notch too, other than a few dodgy episodes in the teens the quality has been outstanding, especially the character expressions which are always a high point especially Enora and Anna Grace.

Now that it's all over, was anyone keeping track how many times that cat used someone's head as a seat

. Up to ep20 she's clambered on 5 different ppl [Aki, Ester, Gram, Poipoider and Yagami], so I figured in the final rush she'd sit on the rest.

So let's see... Some highlights: - The return of Yagami. Heh. Saw this coming from a mile away... - Even better, Kubernes lends a hand. (It seems Gram hired him or asked him a favor. Can't really tell since my Japanese is veerry rusty. Not that it was that great to begin with..) - Gram, Vess, Yagami, Kubernes, Achi and Junior (that's right--all of them!) fighting the Federation with their RBs. - And oh, did I mention that Vess continues to kick ass as usual? In fact, I think she had the most kills. - The most well-done animated sequence of the Ship of Aurora rising up from the surface of the water! You're not going to find something like this in the previous episodes, that's for sure. - Gram loses his RB out of carelessness--so he leaves it behind. - And finally, the credits! This isn't the BONES which has a penchant for tragic or obscure endings, people. Basically, Gram gets his own ship (Ship of Hope) and Vess and those two kids join him. Gram looks like a family man now. Awwww... So yeah--a typical "let's sail the seven seas together" scenario. A good one though. On the other hand, I still don't understand what's so special about the treasure of Mars. In fact, it almost seems like an afterthought. I'll probably try to decipher it when I watch it again. (Unless of course, if one of you guys can summarize it for us... ) But from what I have seen, it seems to have benefited the whole of Mars itself. Did it give life to the ocean or something? And finally--as to be expected, a few questions are still left unanswered. (the pendant, where did Hope come from, etc.) All in all, this has been a very rewarding episode! Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Time Warp/Future	yup, a satisfying ending to a satisfying series Spoiler for ep26: It's kinda nice to see a series where everyone can live on happily in the end, when killing off favorite characters seems to be the trend of the day for a lot of other series the explanations about the RB Hope and the God's stone are a bit lacking... it seems the Hope gets attracted to the light from the God's stone somehow, but for what reason we never know. And the God's stone is actually Mars' indigenous life, which becomes dormant in stone form when there's no water. not much else is explained. So Elizabeth mindlessly blowing up the cave of the crystal actually reactivated those creatures, speaking of convenient things In the end Gram salvaged and repaired the pirate ship from the ship's graveyard in which Vess dueled him (and totally owned him ) back then. A very nice touch I'd say Now it seems he's really going to travel around Mars to teach people about dreams... a journeying messiah figure? I soooo want them to have a duel... the Kubernes vs. Gram duel is cool and all, but still I want some Yagami vs. Gram action
