On Wikipedia site (One Piece music section), someone put the following comment regarding this issue:

"Starting with episode 279 the use of an ending theme was dropped. It is unsure at this time if they were dropped permanently."

They haven't updated that, so no idea what will happen next. Though, I didn't feel any loss, cause the last ending was bad. Anyways...Probably, a few episodes later, with the beginning of the new filler arcs (if they decide to continue the show that way), they will use new opening and ending themes...

-A weapon like a polearm.He also had some fights with former pirate king.When Shanks and WB clashed their sword and polearm, clouds at the sky split into two with energy of clash.

-He says there is no defence against his attacks,he can throw cannonballs like meteors just with his hands, he can also use soru (since he moved instantly to punch luffy,or simply hes just too fast than average) and finally he cornered pirate king Gol D Roger many times in past. One of two people with WB, that is capable to fought with him.

I believe, this is not something new. Most recently, we have seen something similar to that from Zoro, when he fought against Kaku. Kaku was able to feel some strange but powerful aura from him. Probably, what Shanks showed is a higher level version of that. The more experience, the fighter gains, it becomes more likely to show that ability.

Could it be possible that this is somehow related to what Enerus bunch did, what was it called? Mantra…Right? I always found interesting those abilities not related to DF (the same goes with what Lucci and the others did).

You know when Luffy was on the execution platform in Lougetown? Did that headchopper have that sea stone stuff in it somewhere? That's the only reason (apart from wanting to show smoker saying he was like Roger) that he wasn't able to break it.

Enel landed on the moon, and the inhabitants appear to be having a war and accidentally destroyed the ark so now he's pissed off.

you know in the skypiea arc, when the ship gets stuck on the sacrificial alter and the crew goes camping on shore, usopp wakes up to take a piss and sees a "ghost" repairing the ship

i dont remember if it ever revealed who the "ghost" was. who was it? i thot it might have been pagaya but when i went back to the episode the body shape was wrong

i think it depends on how popular one piece still is when they eventually DO reach the last island

if there still tons of avid fans and theyre making lots of money off of it, then yeah, it will probably continue (though im not sure how, i mean, sailing the other four seas after the grand line would seem kinda pointless, since the grandline is much more adventure filled than the other four)

if viewers have stopped watching one piece, i wouldnt think the show would continue

Raftel is probably the place where main story shall end.Unless they change main story's way to other places, there is no point in seeing other seas.Wandering around other seas sounds like a nice filler though

I just recently started watching One Piece and i've caught up all the way to the recent episodes. But i started noticing a difference in animation directly at episode 296. The colors were more solid and the animation was just off. and then it stopped at episode 308. I thought it could be the versions of the series i had. but they're all the same version, which seems really weird to me.
