"Takao's Day Out" was very nice, and surprise, she managed to trip all the right relationship flags. If not for Gunzo's (likely by this point) Yamato-related hang-up, this gives Takao a HUGE boost in the relationship race.

I just read everything that's available, and it's not a bad story thus far. Not much else to say other than to agree with the Takao enjoyment. She's really just to darn cute, and got some good marks with mom just now in the special chapter.

So Gunzou wants a treaty with Fog of War by using the Vibration Warhead as kind if deterrent to them huh? That sounds like a real longshot considering how mankind and them are still at a long bitter war. Once the weapon is mass-produced most people will likely want FOG destroyed, and FOG most likely won't trust humans either to negotiate at that point.

I'm also getting pretty worried about Takao now. Zordian is not only ruthless, but every bit as good a strategist as Gunzou. I doubt she'll will able able to get away much less beat him.

I think the bigger surprise for me was the fact that Hyuuga made up an automated robot factory. Then pretty much left it on because she forgot about it.

That's either going to bite humanity bad in the future, or is going to be a cause for hilarity.

Hyuuga's robot army is silly and scary at the same time. They look dumb but they rip those soldier's to pieces.

It reminds me of those fodder robots from Casshern.

Btw, who's the ship at the end of the chapter? Have we seen her before? I kinda forgot.

Also, "Takao as daughter-in-law" flag raised high!

Only two ships aside from Hyuuga and Iona were shown this time: the u-boat and (I think) Musashi, who is with Gunsou's dad in England.

Wow, poor U-2501. I have the feeling that her harsh treatment at the hands of Zordan will have consequences in the future, for good or bad. And just how did she get a human crew anyhow?

I think that Hyuuga, even though she is confident that she can do it, is going to have problems when it comes time to shut down the robot army.

The lady in question has a husband and son but can't meet them since their busy with their work and she's under house arrest. Takao eventually says goodbye to her but not before the lady gives her a hug and wishes she had a daughter like her. BTW, about that lady? It turns out she's Gunzou's mom! Congrats Takao! Like how the twins imply that there are TWO Yamatos, which is to say it's not just Yamato the ship having multiple bodies but something else entirely.
