Obviously the flying mechanism is completed fictitious, but you could say the same thing with most "flying" CE gundams. At the very least, the 00 people decided to ditch the useless wings.

Considering their size and shape, the MS shouldn't be able to fly with them either... Maybe they get by on pure thrust, like rockets. Or pure handwavium. Wings aren't exactly a necessity.

My point was, Gundam wings are so small and the bodies so not aerodynamic that the wings really don't matter.

It's all about the very powerful thrusters, which are completely wasted on MS.

Source? There's been plenty of rumored cast lists so far (on 2ch), so just wondering.

But anyway, its a few hours until the cast is officially revealed in Japan (event to start at 14:30 Japan time), so we'll see.

She was in the end of one of those little tv spots (they're on the site as well if I'm not mistaken. If not check tokyotosho).
So no surprise there.
Mamoru Miyano (aka Tamaki from Ouran and Light from Death Note) is on the cast list

Shinichiro Miki as well! His voice acting is great IMO.

Funny how most of the cast is in Baccano! too.

Perhaps the grunt MSes when they go into flight mode have a sort of lifting body like the X-15 did.

But as for the gundams themselves, it just makes no sense to have a gundam. Seriously what's the point of the entire humanoid body shape when you can do much better with a fighter plane design?

Nice cast list. I like them all. I actually guessed that Shinichiro Miki will play Lockon

But I wonder how Hiroyuki Yoshino will play a calm type character like Setsuna. I'm too familiar with his hot blooded type character like Hibiki in Vandread

Great news about Paku Romi, i'm very happy about that. She's known to be able to play just about any role possible.

As for Mamoru Miyano --- he's play a few insane jobs this year, lets see if this'll be another one of them.
