What can I say, tsukkomi characters appeal to me. That and the long, gorgeous hair. Although, I'm not much of a fan of bass, but my college roommate does play it...

Er, it is broadcasting in widescreen, right? 4:3 isn't the original aspect ratio?

Less noticeable than in Clannad, but yeah, it's cropped.

Depends. The only station I know that broadcasts in widescreen is BS-TBS. If this is the case, than the widescreen version of K-On airs on the 25th of April.

There's a poll over at Sankaku Complex that's got the exact same order: Mio, Yui, Tsmugi, Ritsu. Except over 60% of the votes were cast for Mio.

I love Yui because she's such a cute clutz and Ritsu because she reminds me of Konata, just a tad more normal I guess

I don't really like Mio just like I don't like Kagami from LS or maybe Kyou from CLANNAD. I've never been one for tsundere/tsukkomi; I just can't warm up to them. But her character design is nice and the ED is great, so I won't have problems with her...I don't think. Maybe I'll actually like her later on ^^

All in all this seems to be a fun series.

As my current avatar is Ritsu, it sad she's the least popular. Haruhi shall not be please to those who voted against her Genki sister in arms.

Wiki suggests that Mio is shy rather than tsundere. Kagami/Kyou types are not shy.

The tsukkomi/boke act with Ritsu is fairly obvious though. Yui just has the potental to add to the situation.

I can identify with Mio, because I'm usually the tsukkomi when I'm with my friends... I know too much useless trivia to even act silly. :P
