This is because her burst heals quite a large amount of HP right from the get go for the whole party (same for her normal attacks), but also keeps healing the active character continuously so it is pretty easy to increase Furina's fanfare points this way. And of course, being Anemo also means she can be a res shred support with the VV set, so you aren't forced to include Kazuha/Sucrose for that.

Furina is pretty hard to play around her mechanic. Her skill eat through my team HP faster than expect. Not only you need a healer who can heal off-field, that healer should heal everyone at once too. Jean is really perfect for healer role. (like Klashikari said)

I have to decide I want her do big damage or just make her a full buffer with full HP+ER build (C2 seem to fix this issue).

Also, it's quite hard to see how many buff stack she has.

I get what you're saying, and 100% I feel for Furina and wouldn't blame her for anything of this. Don't take any of this as a fundamental disagreement on that side.

But ultimately Focalors' plan needed for Furina to accumulate as much faith as possible to convert into Indemnitium. Furina isn't an elected leader, but she's positioning herself as the nation's god. People place their faith in gods because of their power (seeking the god's blessing), and the fact is that Furina has no actual power. Her humble and meek speech was certainly very sweet (especially for us who already see in retrospect what she had to go through subsequently), but it's not very awe-inspiring. Even though she is human, she can't only act like it and expect people's faith.

Consider what we just saw previously in Sumeru where they had all this respect for Rukkhadevata but none for Nahida. Why? Because they saw/knew Rukkhadevata's great power and deeds, but Nahida just looked to them like a little child with no power/experience. Those in charge thought there was more to be gained for the strength of their nation (and themselves) to perpetuate faith in the old god and the systems she built, rather than placing faith in this "Lesser Lord." (And for a long time, Nahida herself didn't entirely disagree.)

The faith people have in Ei is because of her great deeds in protecting Inazuma through time. The faith people had in Zhongli was made concrete due to his appearances from on-high in all his splendor and the long history of contracts. And with Venti, although they don't (knowingly) see his presence, they know of his past deeds and believe in his ever-presence wherever the wind blows.

All this to say: as a new god, she's got to give them something above what any normal human could do or say to make them see her as a god worthy of respect and faith. Otherwise, how will Focalors get the Indemnitium she needs?

But even beside all this, Furina's response to their initial skepticism, and the exact form it took (the specific mask she wore), was still her own decision, although it really stemmed from being woefully unprepared. Despite the initial skepticism, she could have gone forward anyway with the attitude she wanted, or potentially found some other way to convince people in time. She didn't have to win their approval on day one. But because she saw herself as powerless, because of her insecurity, and because of Focalors' own love of opera/theatre, she turned instead to acting a part. There might have been other options, but she had no one else to turn to for advice, and once she committed to her bit, she stuck with it. It became part of the basis for people's faith in her.

Even if people had accepted her initial "natural" disposition and that had been good enough, it was going to be sorely tested whenever times were tough. Certainly all this ordeal with the prophecy wasn't going to nicely fit into her demeanor -- you can't act humble/meek but at the same time be forever evasive on issues of great importance. Whenever anything went wrong and Furina did nothing to stop it other than "try her best," people's faith in her as a god would crumble. With this approach, whenever bad things happen, she can instead just redirect people's attention to the courtroom and the quest for justice, which is a perfect cover-up for the fact that she has no power to actually perform any divine intervention at all.

I think the truly exhausting part was keeping this all going for 500 years with no one to confide in and feeling so completely helpless/hopeless to solve the problem she's there to prevent. The real battle is less "keeping up the act" (although certainly that, too) and more "keeping the faith." As Ei attests, 500 years of flawless performance is a lot for even a god to endure, let alone a human.

In the end, I'd probably side more with Klashikari's view that this is really Focalors' fault more than anyone. She just sort of threw her human self to the wolves and left her alone to figure it all out (although it does seem she intervened in some ways, like setting up Neuvillette's role). It was particularly cruel, leaving her unprepared to deal (for example) with people's skepticism and left to literally improvise on the spot, and then live with the consequences for 500 years all alone. Even if she needed to keep the specific details of the prophecy secret (in order to ensure the "archon sentenced in a trial" and "crying on her throne" scenes still played out as foretold -- which they did through Furina), these other issues could have taken another approach.

So anyway, I can't really blame the people here, though I get why you're saying that. In the end, it was still up to Focalors to provide her people with a reason for placing their faith in her, and she instead chose to send a regular human to do the job with no powers and no prep. Furina suffered for 500 years as a result of Focalors' choice of strategy, with the only consolation being that, whatever other paths there might have been to get to the same end point, this one at least did work out.

the animation of Furina's "Let the People Rejoice" reminds me of Pegasus opening up Toon World in Yugioh.

anyway, I find Furina very fun to pilot. Just have to play around the massive HP drain. Glad to have a fully levelled Jean in Europe server. In Asia and USA, I use Kokomi.

C1-C2 are great. C1&C2 will help her gain stack a lot faster. C2 also increase her MAX which make her E do more damage and reduce the need of using HP artifact pieces/status.

C3 maybe if you want more damage

Honestly Furina maximized stacks at lvl10 does so much bonus damage you may not need C1 and C2 anyway as long as you know how.

C1 basically allows her burst to immediately buff your party damage by 37.5% at lvl10, and increase its cap by extra 25% (thus a grand total of 100% increased damage modifier instead of 75%). It is noticeably effective for content like abyss that might force you to squeeze as much damage as possible within a limited time frame.
Meanwhile, C2 roughly triples the stack gain speed, which basically makes so that you can max her fanfare stacks within 1-2 seconds with any healer (even with the increased cap from C1). In certain cases like Neuvilette, you can simply skip using heals to cap her buff early on. But the real catch is the HP increase as Marina stated: the HP gains is around 25k, which is pretty huge for stats distribution or purely for her personal damage (her pets basically deal something like 30-40% more damage compared to C0-C2 at max HP gain).

They are not necessary to make her function, but they are a pretty significant boost, arguably much better than her signature weapon.

had fun with Furina, Bazhou, Shinobu, and Collei. The opponents were literally mowed down. Sadly, don't have Baizhou in any account. I'm wondering if Nahida could be a substitute for him in this setup? hmm...

Nahida doesn't have the same role as Baizhu. If anything, she replace Collei/Dendro Traveler for Dendro application and amplification, so she should be slotted regardless if you have Baizhu or not if your party needs dendro reaction. The only remotely close substitute is Yaoyao since she has some heal capabilities, but her party heal is only through her burst and you have to keep her on field to maintain the heal effect.

I am now one of the believers in the theory that Sandrone is the real Mary-ann. I think maybe she survived the battle with Narzissenkreuz Ordo by absorbing the Abyss power (like how Rene used it to revive Jakob), became immortal and lived to the present day. She ends up joining Fatui as one of Harbinger. If I have to guess, her big robot is probably A.I. that she created to mimic her brother Alain Guillotin.

she's C1 now in USA and EU, already satisfied with this. Now, just have to work a little more in Asia.

have been grinding Furina artifacts everyday on all three servers. So far, have been luckiest in Europe. Almost completed her Golden Troupe set.

will also build Shinobu after building Furina. Was impressed by her performance in a Furina dendro team during Misty Dungeon event. Thankfully, I have her on all servers. Hmm, still have to decide what build of Shinobu is best for dendro team.

Yea, I've also been lucky with the golden troupe set, most of them have nice substats, like double crit and ER.

it's crazy, with 4 condensed resin in hand. I'm going in to the Golden Troupe domain each day in Asia, Europe, and America. Have never done this sort of thing before. I guess Furina is just that charismatic.
each server, I have a different method of eliminating the meks.

Asia = Lynette skill or throw down lure, Miko set up elemental skill, then Hu Tao burns them to death. Rinse and repeat.
Europe = Lynette skill or lure. Raiden and Dehya take turns doing burst. Rinse and repeat until all killed.
America = Lynette skill or lure, Miko elemental skill, Yoimiya skill then fire arrows until all enemies drop dead.

my goal is each piece of artifact should have 10% or more Crit Rate, so at the bare minimum I have approx 50% crit from artifacts. Using a Crit Damage circlet, so the crit hits have more punch to them. As an example, here is my circlet in EU. Going for crit rate and hp% sub stats. Not going for ER on sub stats, because using Favonius Sword as weapon. Spent all fates getting Furina to C1, sadly don't have resources to pull for Splendor of Tranquil Waters.
