I think theres not much mention of Zegion during that time aside from he was ordered to protect the area.

Adalman and Kumara were Clayman's elite subordinate, they joined after they were defeated by Tempest

Kinda made me crazy that GT translated 'Veldanava' as Vel Danner Cordova but something like that.

From what I understood, the one that was possessing Yuki was Veldanava's memories (not the soul itself since it had already reincarnated in Milim's pet dragon Gaia). So, yeah, fake. He calls himself Velda in that form.
