i am looking for a firewall that will not slow my computer down and not mess up my online gameing

I have been using ZoneAlarm for years. Works like a charm. The funny thing is that the free version is actually better than the full one, which has more bloat. Don't let the messy/commercial site put you off (skip the advertising).

Big fan of ZoneAlarm here too.

When you play games simply activate RightClick Tray Icon > Game Mode... and choose the option best for you. I hardly do this though as its very rare for games to not work with ZoneAlarm (ie. freeze). But, of course the option is there whenever you need it.

Well, must agree with the other, ZoneAlarm is a pretty good firewall, and I recommend it to any one even over the windows firewall.

I use PC tools firewall plus. No complaints here.
