I have an apartment but I'm Subletting it. So I am here, my girlfriend lives here.

Do you still consider AZ types of skateboards for beginners?

Yeah, definitely. A Whole Lot of my friends Live there, my familymy parents are still together and live in the home I grew up in, so it feels just like home.

Have you lived anywhere else?

Yeah, I went to school in SF from 2006-2008.

Do you enjoy living in New York?

I like New York, but I believe it is tough For me to attempt to keep up a career here. The weather is demanding, there's lots of distractions and stimulation. It is the distractions--it makes it difficult to focus on skating.

What are those distractions? It's Partying, but I know you are not much of a party guy.

You get caught up working a lot and Dabbling in endeavors. I worked for some time and a skate shop for an artist. I interned in an art gallery. There are lots of things. It is an aggressive place to reside and that makes it difficult to go skate daily. I don't
get caught up in the partying, but that seems to occur anywhere. New York might have that rep, but I believe that happens they are.

Can you drink?

I really do but not much. I didn't start drinking Until I was 21. Partying has never been a vice for me personally.

You're vegan, right?

How hard is it to find food on tour when you're vegan?

I don't think that it's very hard anymore. I think Years back it could have been hard. It looks like tours go back and forth between Chipotle and Whole Foods. I have a small lunch box that I keep with me. I had a jar of water, a dry mix protein shake, some fruit, some nuts and vanilla butter. I have. That is what is in my backpack when I'm out skating around town. Usually at Whole Foods, I will stock up on excursions and I rather eat all day.

I rolled my arm that was left when I was a little kid. That is when I began skating switch a lot. I have never been very good at regular kickflips. Particular tricks feel much more comfortable to me going switch, and perhaps I can't do the trick that is best everyday, so I move change.

I remember getting out of school with a hurt foot and wanting to skate so bad but I could fold switch. When I started skating, I was pushing mongo so pushing change and throwing down switch hasn't been a issue. There is that response you were looking for.

What's simpler for you- Transition, or a change back tail a ledge that is knee-high?

The switch back tail. I invested an hour This morning seeking to bluntslide a quarterpipe under the BQE. I lost my head. I did, but I was the kid who skated the Quarterpipe to level. My brother always skated ledges, so I got into that too and just wasn't ever about anybody who skated. All tranny parks popped up once I already skated for a couple of decades, and I was more into skating stairs, ledges and pubs. If I'm in a skatepark I have fun as opposed to spend an hour trying to perform a stand up and'd rather just skate a ledge.

Last issue, is Blink-182 really that great Of a group?

Oh man! When Dude Ranch arrived I was 8 years old Outside and I will always have a soft spot for them. This was when I started skating. So I was my brother was to them.

Most readers of this mag would say that they suck. What can you inform them that may sway over best complete skateboards?

I am not trying to sway anyone. They Are pretty questionable once I think about it but they helped me Get through these decades.

This shit comes up a lot. I Feel as though I'm the guy in skateboarding. I really don't know if I'm ready to function as Blink-182 guy.
