Your cousin has grown a year in one hour! Your other thread is now deleted. Anyway, Fruit Basket is pretty good. Future Boy Conan is another pretty good one. Another PG13 romance anime would be Aishiteruze Baby. I would let her watch Clannad also, and Kanon for the overall romance theme/family.

Hahahah, your entire family decided to watch anime. Good good, convert them all!
Anyway, for romantic comedy, I have to ask. You said no nudity in the previous thread, but in a number of romantic comedy animes, ecchi scenes such as panty shots and accidental boobs grabbing (with the lady fully clothed of course) are the usual scenes. Your cousin is 14 years old, it could be the time when his manly side "awakens", so I am not sure if it is appropriate (I sort of guess it's not, but I am asking anyway. The definition of nudity is different for everyone; for me the two features above are not nudity). Try Itazura na Kiss for some LOL (be aware that the heroine may turn you off, you will get what I mean when you watch it). I don't think Itazura has any panty shots and boobs grabbing as far as I could remember. Overall though, Itazura is a good romantic comedy anime. You can try Special A too. The comedy is a bit off at times, but it's not a bad anime. You may find it interesting. Also, Kaichou wa Maid sama, Kamisama Hajimemashita and Ouran (well, Ouran leans more towards comedy than romance but still worth a try). |

I mentioned Nodame Cantabile and Kamisama Hajimemashita in your other thread, but they both meet your request here as well. The male half of the pair in Nodame is a "tsundere" meaning a character that starts off cold ("tsun") but warms up ("dere") over the course of the story. Usually females play the tsundere role, but Chiaki is an excellent male example.
Neither half of the main couple in Kamisama Hajimemashita particularly want to fall in the love with the other; she's a high-school girl, and he is a fox spirit. It all works out fine in the end, though. I also suggest Saiunkoku Monogatari, but now that it is out-of-print it is not so easy to find. Fansubs are here. Tsuritama is an excellent comedy from last summer about four high-school boys, well three boys and an alien, who take up fishing. Now that you're done yawning, it's really quite funny and was among my favorite shows from last year. Not much romance though. I'll also mention Moyashimon, about a college freshman who can see microbes, for another amusing romp. Crunchy has both seasons, but the first is much better than its successor. This show has more sexual references than some of the others, but nothing explicit is shown. Of course, there's always School Rumble, one of the most consistently funny series ever made. There are a couple of scenes where the male protagonist appears nude for comic effect, and some of the boys have an strong interest in porn (not shown, of course), but beyond that it's largely good clean fun. You can choose to watch this with subs or dubs at Funimation.

Wait, aren't you the one who posted about watching anime with their mom and brothers?
Anyway: Ouran High School Host Club: one of my all time favorites, plenty of comedy and even some romance. Pretty inoffensive unless your family objects to cross-dressing Uta-no-Prince-Sama(both seasons and streaming on Crunchyroll): Goofy and fun series about a girl who wants to study to become a pop composer and the boyband who adores her. Again, another fun comedy with great music(most of the VAs for the boyband can actually sing!), lots of romance(all of the members of the boyband somehow write songs that indicate what a speshul snowflake the MC is. I find it pretty funny but I'm weird ) and like Ouran, all of the cast is adorable....though the MC is kind of a dummy. Kamisama Kiss/Hajimeshita: One of the best series from last year: Charming and fun romance between a mortal girl and the fox familar who's stuck working for her. Air: great romance with some comedy thrown in. Bring tissues because the ending is a tearjerker Natsume's Book of Friends: Another personal favorite about a boy who can see yokai. No romance, but there's some comedy: Nyanko-Sensei is the best mascot character EVER.
