In both cases, I'm pretty sure Yuu is going to be passive, he's a teacher after all. I'm personally rooting for Aoi, since she seems to have the same interests (academically) and she seems to be changing her opinion after the little fiasco in chapter 5. It looks like Yuu can relate with her problems too, even if partially. Quarterly releases, urgh!

Haruka is alot different compared to the 2 and a good contrast I think. Still I'd like the other 3 to join in as well! This is one of them series where I got my favorite pairing and would love nothing more than it to happen yet part of me wants others as well but then when that happens a series tends to get bogged down in the nonsense. The real question is tho, how will Haruka try to snare her prey?! Will it be with the "homemade bento" or with "battle panties"(thats one for Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to readers)?!

Just sometimes you gotta have something a little different, in fact it seems more like every series is actually a harem at the core just dressed a little differently that it kinda throws you off. And makes it look like a love triangle or just a normal relationship

I really like this manga. Aside from the student x teacher relationship thing [which doesn't bother me as much since there's no age gap], I'm really enjoying this idea of doing what you want to do even if you feel you can't.
In a sense, I guess I'm not reading this for the romance as much as I am for the character development. We have a girl who feels as if she isn't good at anything and wants to find something and another girl who does have something but is conflicted on accepting it. It's really interesting to me. Even if they did move into romance, I've already become attached to the characters, so I wouldn't mind. |

A Way to Make a Gentle World
Author & Artist: Takeba Kumiko Genre: Comedy, Drama, Harem, Romance, School Life, Seinen Type: Manga Status: On-going Synopsis: Yuu Tomonoga is a genius who was accepted to an American university at the young age of 13 and later accepted into the university's graduate program. Unfortunately, he loses funding for his research, but decides to drop out and continue the research on his own. He travels back to Japan in hopes of getting funding, but he quickly runs out of money for daily living. Luckily, he gets a call from an old friend and accepts his offer to teach at an all-girls school. I've been following this for a few months now and I'm really liking the premise of the series. It's technically a teacher and student romance series, with interesting characters and makes you think about what you make the most out of things. Oh yes, this series has currently 5 chapters with chapter 6 of volume 2 being released not to long ago. Don't know the number of volumes but will look into it. So what do you all think?

There's a thread for this series already, but it hasn't been used since January, and it went by its Japanese name (Yasashii Sekai no Tsukurikata), so I can see how you missed it.
http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...yasashii+sekai That being said, I'm really ecstatic a new chapter was released. Need to go read it now. |

At first glance it looks like a pretty cliche scenario and that it's going to be the "same old same old"... But once you get to read this it kinda shines on it's own right, the best thing is -of course- the girls, they are not just some extremely well drawn bimbos and the like, they have their own issues and characteristics, furthermore they are expressed pretty nicely, compared to other series that have "troubled student that need help" these girls come out as much more complete and much more genuine characters.
It's not "Dragon Zakura" level of realism, but it's pretty down to the ground and fun. Also, they situation that they are in can have some pretty interesting solutions (and pairings, mind you ) ---- How about merging threads? :P Deserved quote.
