Which means I'm 4-6-0 this round. Outside of Silica, though, all the other girls shouldn't have any problem qualifying in 2nd prelim. SAO continues to look bad in contrast to its popularity, though...
Well, that's what Asuna Yuuki gets for winning the ISML Emerald Necklace. It was only fair. And this also explains why ISML will continue to kick Saki to the curb in preliminaries.

To be fair, though, she would finish something like 6th or 7th if not for the insane amount of Saki girls in this group. That's about SAO standard...(Asuna finish 5th behind Ako and Shizu, along with Tsukiko and Miborin last year in prelim)

And ISML...it's not just Saki anyway but just about every single SoL series along with, well, MadoMagi.

Something about Saki brings out compulsive voting behavior in a lot of people.

Spoiler for Preliminary 1-8 Results:

Poor Kaori. There just happened to be 11 Saki characters in the group.

This result somewhat worries me unless it turns out to be a fluke and they do terrible in the main tourney. Glad Souseiseki made it though.

By the way, there are 88 Saki girls in this tournament, so 11 is indeed the average number of Sakis in each first preliminary (E1-E8). It's just yesterday that they swept the top 10 of a first preliminary.

Their qualification by match so far is:

E1: 9 total (4 to main round, 5 to second prelim.)
E2: 8 total (2 to main round, 6 to second prelim.)
E3: 18 total (5 to main round, 12 to second prelim., 1 eliminated)
E4: 11 total (10 to main round, 1 to second prelim.)

E5: 11 total
E6: 13 total
E7: 8 total
E8: 10 total

Like I said, 7 out of the 10 are actually relevant character in Zenkoku-hen. And I really can't dispute any of them.

I mean, last group has more Saki girls and only 5 got straight qualification (and 4 of them bunch together anyway). Saki bunch votes are out there, but it's not like people are randomly voting in extremely minor Saki girls. I expect E06 to look more like E03 than E04 anyway (I saw Mihoko, Kuro, Suehara, Kodomo, and maybe Maho directly qualifying, then maybe Mihirogi sneak in at 11th or 12th place)

Saki the Liberal Democratic Party of Saimoe strike R(w)itches again, which is appropriate seeing as they share some voices!

All star casts sure are favoured here.

So,do we still have the same rule where the admin subjectively remove vote/IP that he think is fake?

I don't know, am concerned about this as well as this was what made AST so bad last year. I'm hoping there's no such things now.

No, that rule is not being applied this year, at least not for now.

Since it's an off day, I'll just post my vote for next round early...

On the other hand, lack of Saki (or Lovelive or even Precure) means I simply have zero girls to fill up my spaces...

Spoiler for Y5:

Should be between Shiro and Alice. Quite frankly, this group is simply weak...

On another side note, though, somehow I got 2x Kido Ibuki-voiced girls in there...

Yes, yes, that as well. But Homura is in the Stella Division for good.

Spoiler for My Y5 votes:
By the way, I played around with the CAPTCHA in order to get a better understanding of how it works. As you know, for each attempt to access the code generator, the CAPTCHA gives you six chances to enter the correct code. Failure to enter the code six times in a row locks you out for the rest of the day. To successfully obtain a code, this process must be done twice; once to request code generation, and once to get the code.

For those who are somewhat familiar with kana but have trouble entering the correct code to the CAPTCHA, here is what I found out:
  • The CAPTCHA does not accept any dakuten, handakuten, or little kana forms. If you are thinking about entering one in the code, rest assured that it will always be considered wrong. Forms appearing to be little kana in the image must be entered as big kana.
  • HE (へ ヘ), RI (り リ), WA (わ ワ), and WO (を ヲ) are not used.
  • I have given some examples in the images section below for anyone interested, along with a note or two for each one. Each example is a successful response.

FractalFusion thanks for that help but once again I am banished to the bleachers for this day, I almost got a vote but stuffed up the attempt somehow. Oh well try and try again, or cheer on with all my might as per usual seem to be my options.
