You don't really need to know Chinese at all, story-wise its a adaptation and gameplay-wise its a action game, people already translated the stats and that's pretty much all you need to know. Everything else the game teaches you how to do when you first unlock it

I mean, that's alright I guess. It would be more fun if I could re-experience the story in Japanese or English though... but may still get it.

Well its Japanese voices if you understand it, if you want to read it though you may have to wait until the Japanese gets their server in 2018 or so and really who knows when for a possible english/global server
