release dates

anyone got any idea when any of these films: steamboy, innocence, howls moving castle, and izo might be shown in the u.k at some art house cinemas?( I know izo was shown at the london film festival, but i stupidly missed it )

Ghost in the Shell : Innocence will be shown in belgian theaters about mid january, usually the UK and belgium have parallel releases, try some online theater site, chances are pretty high they're allready announcing it

All i gotta say is UK is crap for anime releases in the cinemas. If those anime do get released they'll probably be shown at specialist theatres or cinemas like UCI or sumthin which are not everywhere. I wish warner bros. cinemas would show anime

Well, it's the same here, Innocence won't play in the big theaters only in the smaller ones, the ones that often program for a "different public". To me that doesn't really matter but it can indeed be a problem since those kinda theaters tend to be in major cities only.

Yeh im not expecting it to be shown at any big cinemas, and i agree that if there going to be shown anywhere its going to be an art house type cinema. Fortunately i live in London and know a few, i might try and email them...
