Actually, after I posted this I thought "wait, Code Geass as a comparison isn't that bad, certainly better than Oreimo". Futuristic setting? Check. World War? Check. School setting? Check. Yeah, I really shouldn't go there.

same impression, this ep had many scenes without a movement, even when people talked they cut the scene to someone else so they wouldn't need animate the mouth moving.

episode 2 was decent. Cut a lot of conversations shorter than I liked though.

Also, budget seemed to be really low this episode, lots of characters with flat derp faces all thruout this episode.
