he had to have been born from something... was he in like a snake clan or something..why is he so abnormal he looks already dead

Nah, he didn't have parents, he just appeared somewhere, like many other side characters.

Im fairly sure he had parents. His snake like abilities do seem some kind of clan trademark. But don't count on this ever to be revealed. If mangaka's felt obliged to go in depth about every family member of every character, there would't be much fun about it now would there

I've been wonering about this myself, I think it's strange that we don't get to know more about his past like about his parents and stuff cuz u don't become that evil whitout a reason, and he is one of the main characters so I think they should tell us something, anyway they should tell us more about Narutos parents too,

I think this question should be rhetorical!!!

He obviously has parents whether we find out about who they were is up to the author, kishimoto. Considering how many characters are in naruto we shouldn't expect to find out single detail about them.

If he was in a snake clan then there would obviously be more like him i realy doubt it Anko can use snake attacks and shes from no clan

as Sarutobi said he was a inhuman freak maybe he meant it as in his intentions wernt human so im guessing his case was kind of like Gaara's where the mum died having him and the father no idea?

Yes, Orochimaru had parents and no, none of them are Micheal Jackson. His snake-oriented jutsu, appearance and eye shadow are proberbly his clan's trademark.

The Snake-Man and his wife Martha, who lived just outside the borders of the Leaf, in the now-defunct town of SoundVille, were a very happy and loving couple. Snake-Man was the best puppet maker in the whole of Fire Country and it was a common occurance for long lines of people outside his doorstep with requests for puppets of the finest quality. Even the Hokage of that time purchased a puppet from the Snake-Man, for they were the most beautiful puppets he had ever seen.

Although Snake-Man and his wife were content with eachother, they soon longed to start a family of their own. After many months of trying to no avail, they sought the advice of the Village's medicine man, who after a very anxious examination, declared Martha to be barren. Stricken with grief, the loving couple left the hut and returned home.

Snake-Man buried himself in his work in an attempt to block out the grief and after endless nights of work finished his most beautiful creation yet. A puppet so life-like that from a distance would be mistaken as a real boy. He soon left his workshop to be with his wife. During the night, the Glenda the Good Angel, who had witnessed the unfortunate fate dealt to the Snake-Man and his wife, decided to grant them the one wish that they had so desperately wanted and used her chakra to transform the puppet into a real boy.

Unfortunately for her, the wood Snake-Man used to create the puppet, was given to him by the Evil Angel from the West, who used the Bunshin no Jutsu to impersonate the kind lumberjack Johnny Appleseed. Once the puppet became real, it sprang forth and sank its teeth into Glenda's neck and drank her chakra, effectively increasing his own supply tenfold. After having his meal, the puppet was approached by the Wicked Witch and she proposed that if he were to destroy the Leaf, she would grant him the power of immortality. Not liking the way the witch looked, with her rotten teeth and disgusting odor, the boy reached behind himself and grabbed Glenda's wand and shoved into her throat. As she slowly faded into oblivion, the wicked witch whispered, "Orochimaru, orochimaru". Liking the word, the boy took it as his own. After burning down the town of SoundVille, Orochimaru left in search of the Leaf, to cause it's destruction.

He was probably the result of an experiment that went bad. Hence why he turned out evil. A bit like Gaara's I think.

He was born from a rock the fell from the heavens, his mother is the earth and his father the sky. Even though he looks like a snake, he really is the monkey king, and that sword that comes out of his mouth is really just his staff but because its kepted in a different spot instead of his ear it changes it's form...
