It's true, the series IMO was consistantly getting better with every episode in the first half (Compare episode 2 to say...the yayoi or training episode) but with episode 13 it really hit its stride, and just blazed ahead with a single stumble at the hibiki episode.

Honestly, this was the surprise hit of 2011 next to Tiger and Bunny for me. The quality put into this show stands up against some of 2011's best both in directing and animating efforts, not to mention the stellar OST. And what really sets it apart from the lucky stars and k-ons were the actual plotlines that were developed over the course of the show. (No offence if you liked those series, but they always felt way too episodic with no continuity to me)

Needless to say, I'm gonna be sad to see it end tomorrow. I had way more fun than I initially thought following this series, and we had some fun discussions, didn't we?

I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way, but I found it difficult to enjoy the series as much as the previous posters did since my favourite character was one of the shafted ones.

I'll admit. This was a similar surprise from me. Didn't go into this series expecting much (aside from really good character design =P), but it's been the real highlight of the season so far for me!

and ben-to is way better than i initially thought it would be
idol master kinda shares a third spot with morita-san wa mukuchi
Then again, Maken-ki is a genius manga, i haven't watched the anime yet though

Alright, this is kinda the "duh!" question...

Since tonight's the last episode, I wanted to watch it on live streaming for the first time in 25 weeks. Problem: I don't know what time the show is supposed to air.

Well, it's not quite "40%" as the GL meme would've been due to judicious use of stock footage in the second half, and some stock bits in the first half. But the first half concert number could only be described by one image macro:

I feel that they should animate Dearly Stars next if they wanted to.

Oh well, it will be a while before I actually watch this, but I will definitely going to miss it once I finish it... oh well, there is always the game.

Nooo, I really will miss Idolmaster's week.

Because being honest, I was at first watching thursdays because of Haganai, but I gradually lost the interest in the other hand Idolmaster grew in me a lot, if anyone read my first posts in the thread I watched it only for 2 characters but now I even learned everyones names!!!! (Takagi inclueded!!!)

This episode also featured a new song with re-used animation. Kind of dissapointed about that.

Spoiler for EP. 25 T_T: Broducer arrives to the concert in a wheelchair, after a pep talk the idols are Lady for their concert. Too bad is was rather short. The use of old op animation and new one for the Ready and Change mash-up was awesome. I expect Bamco will make Change! available as a DLC for the game sooner or later. A highlight was Ricchan joining the rest of the idol on stage with a new song!!! Itsumademo Dokomademo, too bad most of it was a clip with old footage and just a little bit of new. Lol, Kuroi had to do it one last time. Everyone was so excited they'd get new offices, until they see it on TV and realize that was Kuroi's building. Again our idols show their unity and big adorable smiles on their hanami party and they'll be together again in Namasukka!
