You're off by one chapter.

Next week will end with Rukia apparently killing Nodt, and then next chapter Nodt will reveal he's not left handed/right handed/plotkai, and only then will end with Rukia saying Bankai.

I think it was supposed to be a parallel to Rukia's ice sword. She "freezes" with ice, and he "freezes" with fear.

Actually, it's just Renji's cockiness. Rukia has to tell him to have a clear head.

Renji's been a VC for a long time, has an established (even upgraded) Bankai, and just fairly easily took out an enemy who just about one-shotted two Visored Captains and a handful of VCs. Yet he's supposedly cocky.

Is it just me, or did that chapter feel exceptionally short - even by Bleach standards?

Otherwise, I kind of like this pair up. I'm actually looking forward to seeing a bit of the old bad ass Rukia we saw when this manga started. And Renji too for that matter. His first match up with Ichigo is still one of my all time favourites. Too bad Kubo so royally screwed him power wise, but maybe this is how he'll make up for it.

Good point, although that doesn't necessarily rule out other similarities between Rukia and Äs Nödt.

I know this isn't going to happen but I want by the end of this final arc for these characters to be killed off:

all of the vizards (except Lisa)
Soi fon
Byakuya (Gin should have survived but meh)
Renji
Rukia
The shiba clan (yes that's right Ichigo, Isshin, Yuzu, Karin, Ganju, etc.
All of the Quincies (except Uryuu)
Orihime and the rest of the fullbringers (except Chad)
Momo
Kenpachi
The royal guard & the rest of the oldies (from Yama's generation)
Unohana (if she isn't dead already)
all of the arrancars (except Grimmjow I still wish Stark was alive but oh well)

That's about all of the characters I want to be eliminated by EoS. Some in a badass way others well not so much. Alot of them should have been offed already imo.

After last week's chapter that Bach is basically fucking immortal, you might get your wish.

But no way in hell Kubo's getting rid of Renji, Rukia and Nii-sama. Same with Kenny. Also, can't seriously picture Kubo killing off the entire Kurosaki clan though I don't expect Kukaku or Ganju to survive.

Hikifune, Spider lady and Eyeball Monk can stay.

I hate both Orihime and Chad and the Fullbringers but I'd rather see Kubo keep Orihime on. For the love of Christ though, KILL CHAD OFF ALREADY. Put his poor Latino ass out of his misery for the love of Jeebus. Also, kill the Vizards. You know you wanna do it Kubo.

Keep Kyoraku on. I don't really care about Ukitake.

The Ambigiously Gay Duo of Baldy and Peacock can go too.

Also, for fucks sake...get rid of Hitsugaya and Matsumoto.

Well I like Chad more he deserves to be the last one standing form the bringers imo. Orihime had her chance in arrancar arc. Screw her (not literally though).

lol after Kenpachi thoguh. Ikkaku becomes the 12th Kenpachi & Yachiru later on the 13th Kenpachi. Think about it the 1st was Yachiru Retsu Unohana the last (before Bleach ends) is Yachiru Kujosachi.

Nah Toshiro has got to replace Shunsui. Once Shunsui is promoted to the RG. In around a hundreds years time.

We need someone to mourn for Gin & Isshin.

I got that impression early on in the HM/Opie chapters that eventually the remaining Arrancar will wind up fighting with the shinigami against the Qs. Hell, the shinigami are almost gone anyway....
