Okay, this is REALLY weird. My streamer is showing me MBS' video feed (and for once the quality is a-okay), but the audio seems to be that of a DIFFERENT channel. Quite unsettling. Looks like I'll have to decline writing up a summary this time.

^-- Well, that was just MY streamer's server failing to synchronize the audio and video feeds. I'm pretty sure the actual broadcast was normal; anyway, subbers use proper raws (which don't have the out of synch issue) or record the show themselves without an intermediary.

Spoiler for Episode 7:

This new episode is highly traumatizing with lot of drama, tension and fights. Because it's a turning point of the anime, we started to learn more about the dark secrets behind Dyson Sphere, its surrending students as well the Dorssian force. Aina's death is so full of sorrow it may cause for me to never forget her being nice to everyone. It doesn't help that L-Elf is crying over the picture of a princess named Liselotte during the fight, and the ending sounds really nice (I'll need to listen it a lot). Plus the next episode will show a memoriam of students' deaths, melodramas and of course, pilots wearing VVV suits for the first time (and showing Saki's after story at the beginning may implies that things wouldn't get very good however)!

L-elf was the star of this episode, he even knows akira were watching him. The loli at the OP is probably his sister, that's why haruto in l-elf body is crying while looking at her portrait photo.

Poor kyuuma, witnessed the crushed body of his crush. Seems like he will be the next valvrave pilot to avenge her.

From the timeskip at the beginning of the episode, Saki will survive this season. She's an immortal vampire.

The new ED is clearly targeted to the fujoshi demographic.

that i want q-vier to die the most painful death possible for killing her i mean killing moses was fine he was kind of a jerk but this girl is one of the kindest girls of the series she really should not have died

no one tried to kill her. No one even noticed that she died until everyone had left to fight giant robot battles. Can't blame the shota for that, especially since she wasn't the first student to be killed.

The surprise this episode wasn't how it ended, as it was predictable. What was surprising was the beginning. That was insane, and I had no idea Sunrise was willing to pull out that card.

Finally we can stop compare the plot of this show to gundam, code geass, or guilty crown. The 200 years timeskip preview in this episode was indeed insane.

I'm curious about the mysterious person behind vvv-tan on the ED, probably 200+ year old haruto growing balls after shouko dead.

the biggest surprise in this episode was

the 200 years into the future preview

-- the calendar is 3rd Galactic Empire year 214
-- space is dyed red/magenta?
-- VVV-4 has gold parts, and Saki wears a gold green pilot suit
-- Valvrave can use some kind of chaff to reduce heat. The heat gauge went from 90 to 50
-- Saki is fighting to keep an old promise. She looks at her pocket watch? but we don't see who is in it

season 2 is going to be interesting..

i know i can't blame him but i can try he still a large part in why she died in dorssia's attack, then again i could be wrong this i only have the info i know now through renegades, misao's and bastekss spoilers
