When she saw the pic of Haruto and Saki sleeping together, she wasn't affected by it at all and was rather worried about how Haruto feels about it.

Yea that's pretty much obvious as it is. But then again, sometimes all that's needed to kick-start a relationship is a baby.

It's true that it could stay HarutoxSaki for the rest of the series, but it's highly unlikely there won't be any change in the status quo for the next 15-16 episodes.

Of course the other thing they could do, aside from going back to HarutoxShouko later, is go back to HarutoxShouko then back to HarutoxSaki again and end on that.

Apparently Shoko thinks that her father was executed. Which is why she was so sad this episode.

I personally think that Haruto and Saki will try to keep it a secret while he hangs out with her in private to make up for it. Which will probably make Saki feel worse. Saki will probably blurt it out out of spite though (when Haruto and Shoko have another moment).

I have a feeling the story might be going towards her spirit breaking into pieces:

First her father might die (imagine if they made it a TV execution)
Then (of actually first) a decision of hers causes deaths of many in Module 77.
And when she needs someone to support her the most, she sees Haruto and Saki together.

And then she forms the Third Galactic Reich because F*ck you!

Liselotte(child version mostly) is pretty darn awesome for someone who is royalty. I've seen too many weak female characters lately so this affects me a lot.

I find my self feeling more sad for Saki than Shouko. Perhaps it is because Shouko is actually loved by not only Haruto but by everyone. I think Haruto's heart will still belong to Shouko despite everything that happens in the series.
While Saki is kinda just there despite actually being a kind girl.

I think in the viewer's eye, Shouko is getting hit hard by all of these recent developments. For Saki, there's a lot of implications that she'll be the tragic heroine of the series. The fact that she technically has or will take all of Haruto's firsts besides his heart makes me view her as Zessica 2.0.
Basically Saki will probably continue to get hit by the developments throughout the series. while Shouko will likely endure the more "major" events so to speak. Continuous small hits can add up to be a lot more than a few big hits.

If they didn't show the future scene, Shoko might still has a chance because Saki can still die. But with 200 years plus plot-armor for Saki it truly is kind of game over for Shoko. Gundam Seed Kira x Flay ---> Kira x Lacus can't be used now. Now I know why they show the future scene with Saki.

Because Haruto is the type to stick with Saki out of obligation alone. He is a good guy, and Saki know what it meant when she let him complete the act. He is now trapped with her, and he would never walk away by choice.
