heh i wouldn't be surprised if he actually worked for General Galaxy the Valkyrie manufacturer. It would only make sense they would continue the brain interface in Macross Galaxy away from the regulations of Eden.

SMS is supposedly Shinsei Military Services, isn't it? (Wholely owned subsidiary of Shinsei Heavy Industries?

) That actually sounds like a fairly likely scenario to come up, with two mega-corporations secretly vying to seize Vajra overtechnology goodies for themselves in the heat of battle.

wow hmmm... Shinsei Military Services? man that would make so much sense. I mean even if a corp gave a military contractor a few planes for performance evaluations, SMS has VF-25's coming out of their ears.

What we need is a military commander and a civilian leader to keep these guys in check.

Too bad Max and Millia aren't part of this fleet.

I just wish UN Spacy supreme commander Vrlithwai was around to smack down on these two corporations.

Yeah wouldn't it? Instead of the Birdman or Megaroad 1 we get the Kadun.

On another creature feature in episode 8.

That cinches it that little critter having three eyes is , maybe, Zolan wildlife. (If you can call Protoculture genetic engineered pets as wildlife)

The Zolan snake is three eyed snake like creature that is usually wraped around a Zolan's neck. Most of the time they are asleep.

Zolans are a miclone race who resemble elfin eared Zentradi.

Every year their world Zola is visited by migrating space whales.

Zolan snakes are intelligent. Zolans can communicate with them. Also Zolan snakes can read Protoculture writings.

Now that critter is definitely Brera Stern's pet but the plot thickens as he owns a Protoculture pet.

Brera could either be a Zentradi , a Zolan or another race that has joined the UN.

at this point I'm wondering if MF will answer the questions left by megaroad 1 and what happened to the birdman.

this hit me like a ton of bricks... Brera could be to Ranka as Kaifun was to Minmay. Not in that he wants to make money off of Ranka but in that he's the "supporting" character she gets cause Alto doesn't seem interested in that role.

If Brera is used as a catalyst to get Alto interested in Ranka than you can kiss Ranka's chances of winning goodbye imo.

I don't think Kawamori would be interested in killing his chance in producing another Macross sequel. Don't kill the speculation, its production-suicide.

As for Ranka's chance at winning Alto's heart at all... from the looks of things... there isn't any!
