Not sure where to post this, but a question for anyone who's read the latest novel, Crown of Roses.
The book is waaay beyond my reading ability (even if my kanji dictionary wasn't sitting in a shipping container in Sydney), but I noticed on the very last page that William Gibson gets acknowledged for one of his books (p199, second-to-last column just before the "this is a work of fiction" disclaimer). The combination of Maria-mite and Gibson is almost too awesome for my little mind to handle - can anyone explain the context to this? Thanks! |

There's a scene where the Drama Club puts on 3 plays. One of those plays is The Miracle Worker. Touko plays Helen Keller. It's in part 4 of chapter 6. |

Whoa, I blinked twice at first reading Simon's post, thinking about cyberpunk in Maria-sama.
To add and to clarify: It turns out that the author of the Miracle Worker this is a different William Gibson, the playwright... whereas the other William Ford Gibson is the guy we know popularly as the classic cyberpunk novelist.
