I'd say Dotachin, Mikado and Kida are the closest to being normal in this cast.

Dotachin perhaps. The other two, no way.

One of the most apt things I've heard said about the series was when someone told me that the amnesiac motorcycle-riding headless-horsewoman was one of the most ordinary people in the series. And thinking back on it at the time, I couldn't disagree.

If we are just talking about characters in terms in terms of common personality traits then yeah sure Celty's one of most normal. Now as a character as whole? Absolutely not, Celty essentially makes up for her normalcy by being physically abnormal and having lived the life of an ageless version of the Irish Grim Reaper.

So what I mean when I say those three particular individuals are the most normal members of cast (relative speaking of course), I'm referring to their character attributes as a whole.

That said Dotachin is probably the only truly normal person in cast (Tom aside) outside having nerves of steel. He can pretty accept everything that happens in Ikebukuro because he's lived his whole life here and as a result gotten used to the city's eccentricities.
