Hmn, so "what's special about this"? The prolog already showed this, but Kitsune has some amazing Hannibal lectures; so it's always a sight to behold when they happen.
Oh, and I remember that the plot twists are really amazing, so it's better to get to them "unsuspecting" rather than knowing what's going to happen before hand. Spoiler:

This is a great story that I'm happy to see it finally translated, but it being unfinished might be a problem.
Fox is more than a little off, but he does things in an awesome way that I haven't really seen elsewhere. His rationale is definitely that dominating the mental aspect of his enemies comes before strength, and hence will laugh and mind rape his opponents even while he's on death's door. He has practically no fear at all. It's more like an "Oh, I'm dying. That's interesting." He is often compared to Death and is grim reaper-like even before becoming strong. |

question:
does it really matter for us, the readers to know the main character's origin as child from rape due to her mother getting 'accident' during one of her compensated dating ? does it have anything to later plot story as plot device or maybe motivation or something to do with the story?

@LynnLen
well... i don't think that what his mother feels about him now really matter in the story because he is dead (which is why i am questioning for what purpose those sob stories is revealed now. is it chekov, red herring or just bad expositions?)..... except if something different happens. @gn_X00 ... could be. i should wait and see how the author do after this i guess. ps. btw thanks,

personally, I really appreciated the background on the guy. Normally, we get what we assume is generic every dude or random bully victim #infinity, toss some powers on them and move from there. Insight into who they are or how they think is thin. Here, we have a history of how his personality and ideology formed and what exactly those are.
I loved that it wasn't: The world sucks -> I'm a badass but instead was: Spoiler for for first chapter, really...:
That is to say, there is a rhyme and a reason to what happens to him. It doesn't rely on a high degree of cynicism (to the point of paranoia) on the part of the reader by having other people do terrible shit without any benefit for themselves, without an explanation. More so, the mc acknowledges that rhyme and reason and adjusts his behavior accordingly, getting an edge on this tilted world. I find him to be much more robust as a character than most mc are by the end of their series.

Ahh this. I saw this being talked about in the other thread last time. Got a little interested buy was kind of surprised no one talked about it or made a topic on it ever since. It is because it got rebooted?
If so...is it worth reading a lost cause or just wait and follow the reboot? |

* Performs rutine check on this series *
** Realizes that there are some 2016 updates and celebrates ** *** Notices that the author has gone back to irregular update pace between June and September *** ..... Someone, please confort me. I'm still salty that this one didn't got serialized after so many evaluation meetings with publishers, that's probably what sucked the author's soul away. Way more yanderes need to be cannibalistic.
