Yep, yep. I even ordered custom sheet music from Josh so I can play it on the piano. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with some sort of a recording. Don't expect too much though because I'm terrible at it. Update. Done recording. Made in WONDER. http://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/f0rova The performance is terrible as usual. In addition, the sound quality turned out to be pretty bad (some noise came out of nowhere). And I played it in G instead of F#. Off the key but playing six sharps is you know...

So that's how Koyomi got to the past. She's basically the equivalent of a fancy Virtual Reality creation. Works for me. That said, Misa and the rest are pretty accepting of time travelers. But in a world where magic lies just beneath the surface, one's definition of "normal" probably jumps a few steps to the left.
Looks like the story with 9-year old Yumiko wraps up next week, and then it's onward to wherever and whenever we're going. The hand puppets this time were doing a blatant advertisement for the original novels, which I don't have much of a problem with. Such is the way of the world, business. Also, I must now consider if Obama could defeat an elephant. It's a most amusing conundrum. Edit: Huh. Odd and almost non-sequitor to the discussion of Koyomi time traveling to defeat an ancient wizard that this thread is eventually going to be about, but it's barely relevant. Actually been watching because main character is voice by the same woman who does OUR THE KONOKA KONOE (Fuuko? Potato? LAWL those, KONOKA is where it's at).
It's strange, this series. Confusing as hell plot direction and non-linear storytelling actually piss me off (zero was unwatchable), but for some reason I can't stop watching this show.

And so concludes the story of Koyomi's trip into the past. So 23 seconds looking through the viewfinder lens translates to three episodes spent in the past. Guess the clock in San Dimas isn't always running. The carousel saving the day (and the method in which it did) brought back memories of Goblet of Fire. Or perhaps Jacob Marley. It did take place around Christmas, after all.
Now with the past done, what lies ahead in the other half? Time will tell. |

BTW The Clock is always running for that day. Remember they can always dial 1 number LOWER to go to yesterday. R.I.P. George Carlin

The short-lived adventures of Koyomi and her magical backpack were amusing, though it seems that she's really a slapstick-inclined Touma Kamijo. No matter what the instance, even when the spell does work, she's always going to summon those basins. Decently good for fighting evil magic, not so good for finding cats.

You can always rely on a giant kuma-chan to save the day.
Just knew that kuma-chan spirit was a bad ass, hell it's button eyes twinkled when it engaged kuma-power! Kuma FTW!! definitely one of the more exciting and fun episodes.
