Actually I don't think so, it will be over a year before SEED is finished releasing on DVD.

Gundam Seed Destiny airs at 6PM Japanese time on October 9th taking over the time slot that used to house Fullmetal Alchemist, at which point it will be over.

Unless you are adament in waiting for the DVDs to come out, there are plenty of other places where you can still download fansubbs of Gundam Seed.

www.Suprnova.org and www.boxtorrents.com come to mind immediately.

For a gifted artist, she definite has some awkward looking dance moves. People weren't lying when they said in seed-forum.com that Lacus looks evil in a gundam seed video where I couldn't make out who's who.

I'm all for Lacus taking some dance lessons from perhaps BoA or someone else who's decent at a young age.

just to say that it seems with the new trailer comes the official english names of the characters (and quite some weird ones at that)

presumed name - official name

Shin Asuka - Sihnn Asuka (um... Sihnn? really strange...)
Athrun Zala - same
Lunamaria Hawke - same
Gilbert Durandal - Gilbert Dullindal (I don't know... what do you think?)
Sting Oakley - same
Owl Nida - Auel Neider (well...)
Stella Loussier - Stellar Loussier (one "r"...)
Rey Za Burrel - same (so it's neither Ray nor Rei but Rey...)
Talia Gladys - same (the later names all come from this new trailer I guess)
Meyrin Hawke - same (yup)

Sihnn Asuka is definitely the weirdest imo...

It's SHINN ASUKA, not "Sihnn"... Look carefully when the "H" is over Shin's sleeve

And it's a Gundam tradition to have strange names (it's a habit of Tomino's after all). So I guess it's no surprise. And they aren't as nasty looking as the Japanese SEED's official English names.

I could swear it was sihnn in the trailer I got...

but now after downloaded the Shi-Fa version just now I'm not so sure

oh well...

the Shi-Fa fansub is great, but there's a little thing... that they somehow translated "EA started invasion on Orb" into "Orb started invasion on EA"... well I guess everyone should know it's just a typo but it looked quite funny when I read it the first time

Cagalli, according to Shi-Fa's fansub, is ORB's representative. I wouldn't necessarily trust that cuz the translation for the narrator of the promo sounds wierd to me. Particularly right before the end of the flash back scene of ORB's destruction. It says that a young man (Shin or Sihnn or whatever...) lost his family and fled Earth on a Gundam. That doesn't make sense. I can't remember who, but someone said that after seeing his family die before his eyes, Shin sees a Gundam flying over head. That seems to make sense.
