Heh, I love them.

I haven't reinstalled Shadow of Chernobyl yet. It got corrupted part way through a play through and I've yet to get back to it.

I've had no such problems (although that could be because I'm running the game in compatibility mode).

^Must've been something wrong with my previous windows install it works now oO... strange cause i did pretty much the same install i did with this (except it wasn't as updated, maybe its cause of an update ?)... Oh, well for games like Starcraft its still better, and having a backup OS isn't so bad...

I'm curious how long ago did you played it on Windows 7 without problems ?

Thanks, hmm... i think its because of an update, windows 7 having problems with DirectDraw games is a known issue (starcraft with explorer running still has problems but i think they are quite not as bad as before), i don't have any other explanation for the fact that the flickering now its gone.

I hate icons. As for the wallpaper, made it myself. I am aware of the fact that I suck at drawing but still, I'm proud

Defiantly NSFW since you have a clear view of that specific area o.o I would find that alone to be very distracting for me to click anything

Can someone tell how I can take a picture of my actual desktop, rather than just post the picture I used?

Go to you Desktop and click Print Screen ---> Then go to your Accessories folder and open up "Paint" ----> next you click on Edit-Paste and then save the file. Or it may be different if we have different types of computers.
