Thankfully this show isn't that hard to understand and a veteran viewer can probably get what's being said when prompted... until the word puns come out and throw everything out the window.

I'm working on that. I got volume 1 translated pretty quickly, but then school started really kicking my ass and it was really difficult for me to find time to translate. But that period of hell is over now and I'm back to full production. I won't give away any details, but I will say that everyone's hunger for translated SR manga will be satisfied in a short matter of time.

Manga Inc has been known to have problems with their translation.

The fansubbers seemed to have gotten it right.

Although, considering how this anime goes, anything can go...

As it has been said, pick your poison. What makes sense to you, stick to it.

IMO the manga inc's translation obviously doesn't make any sense, seeing what happens after. Anyway yup the manga translation is wrong.

Ahahaha, ep`12 I have seen, no thanks to stoopid iWolf at L-R.

Finally, finally I see my Eri-chan in action. this ep just like the manga, though very different indeed, as for the beginning, little clips of something...Well, we fast forward, Hanai is so much into Yakumo, poor guy dissappointed when he found out she's not going to teh beach. And so, fast forward, Hanai seems anti-pervert, but Imadori is complete opposite, fighting to peek, and fast forward a bit to the part I was waiting for: When Eri-chan walks in on Harima when he was doing lord knows what, whooo my love for Eri-chan is complete. They did this part nicely, emphasis on Harima while grabbing her. And so Akira walks in and we know what happened. Boy, the way Eri-chan looks at Harima now, it's priceless.....But considering how most of this episode went, I do believe it was mostly centered around Mikoto and Imadori, wow got to see a serious cute Mikoto during the "D" Cup part basically, we're looking at two part episodes for this beach scene, and ep 13 is the manga chapter where Tenma mis-understands harima thinking he likes Mikoto. This ep 12 has alot of funny Harima-faces,and pretty much I still love Eri-chan's disgusted stare

Manga chapters 112 and b story 24 released, dmn you silly hongfire is down lol raid me @ l33t-raws irc channel, maybe i'll hook you up.

now, next ep is #13, I'm curious as to how much of the manga they are willing to make.....

About the WTF scene in ep12

Fun part was of course Eri getting and eyeful of nekkid Harima

Better one was when Akira got the same, but went on without blinking
She must be used to it, not interested or has someone else in mind...

The really sick thing about SR is how far the writer has been pushing the joke between Eri and Harima. Me wonders if he had planned it from the start, or was enlightened by the fact that if he can't put 2 similar blockheads together- what will happen if diametrically opposite characters clash...

Hello all,

Although I am already a regular visitor of this site for some time. This mail will be my first on this forum :-)

I downloaded yesterday the raw of ep. 12 of School Rumble. And even though that my knowledge of the Japanese Language is not so great (actually its non-existent). This funny show still managed to make me laugh a great number of times.

Still 1 scene left me a quite puzzled.

When Harima was suprised by the blond girl (Eri was her name I think) in his dressing room. Why the hell did he ran to her and grabbed her?? I mean in most countries grabbing a girl while being naked and at the same time keeping her mouth covered means a quick trip to jail for attempted molesting.

But since I don't understand Japanese I presume that he had his reasons? And why wasn't the other girl (the darkhaired one) seemingly not so upset when she witnessed this event?

For the rest I enjoy this show very much and its one of my favourites.

Am I the only one who actually doesn't WANT Harima and Tenma to get together?

I'd rather see him link up with Eri or Yakumo somehow ... my problem is Tenma's total lack of chemistry towards Harima. It's not going to happen, but one can still dream, I guess.
