yeah senzaemon gave tootsuki to her and she's working for it right now but it's just an obligation that she have to do cuz she has responsibility to fix what her father had done, it doesn't mean she will be there for the rest of her life. once tootsuki becomes what she idealized for, she's free to do what she want to do, becomes free chef who can cook whatever she want with passion. pillar? she's just one of them, she could be replaced.

leaving gourmet world wouldn't against her character at all, you can said so to oldself erina, but now she's different, she got nice development, she can stand on her own now,she will be matured enough to think that way, did you think leaving gourmet world means leaving everything related to food and cooking?

yukihira dinner will never be changed, what about if soma could manage his dish becomes gourmet tier with cheap price for commoner, do you know there are cheapest foods that got michelin star? it's fact there are. not against his character but there's alternative solution about it.

The author could make a demon rift open up and change the entire plot of the manga. That really doesn't mean much of anything. At this point in time Erina is running Totsuki and shows no signs of wanting to stop. She also has been continuing Chef training on the side as shown by chapter 277's "Searing Grand Pot Cliff Midair Death Ritual." It specifically a test to show how great a Chef is. So yes, she is training to be a chef still. That's a fact that can't be argued.

I'd argue Yukihira diner already served cheap "Gourmet" food to begin with under Joichiro. It was already the best restaurant in the area. That's different from becoming a Gourmet Restaurant though, which is what I was arguing. I'm not getting into semantics on that one.

The rest of your post is opinions on character consistency, so I'll just drop that too. There's no right or wrong. I say it would go against her character, you disagree. No point in discussing further.

Why Takumi and Megumi instead of, you know, any other higher ranked Elite 10? I know the meta reason, but I expect one will be provided in the story too. It can't be because they participated in the Regiment de Cuisine since Isshiki and Kuga also did. Apparently Anne comes back so maybe she vouched for them? That could be it in Megumi's case at least, I remember she voted for her in the battle against Momo.

i think it's not ridiculous, being confident is already been soma's character to begin with.
of course, the purpose of gate level is to show their different skill gap, but matters not, souma will catch up to asahi soon through bloody battle against noirs. some says, live battle is best experience rather than training in closed room.

It feels like the author's been given a set number of chapters to finish the manga and is rushing through. Also, that Blue is missing a lot of people to convincingly say all the top under-30 are competing. No Shinomiya, no Tsukasa... Heck, where is Erina?

man, the quality of this really dropped after the Central arc. i guess the seeded format lets him reintroduce other chefs later on in the competition.
