1. We can assume at least 90% of them did, maybe 100% considering it's a boarding school (well, sometimes you need to contact your family & friends, and boyfriend assume they have one)

Fun fact, outdated 2000s cell phone is about 2000 yen a piece or more, that means USD 20, cheaper than most high end collection figures. In Japan, overtime the price of a product drops significantly, unless it's a collector item of sort (which GAINED price).

Anti-matter, while pushing somewhat far, is plausible, Dark matter on the other hand.... I don't said about overpowered or not, but plausible or not mind you.

EDIT: What do you want to use it for, weapon? propulsion? reactor?

@ Senpai - Could you please be more specific? I've been re-reading V7 and her reasoning is really vague. Also, I mentioned before that the "Knight in Shining armor" can apply to any of the three protags.
