No, gg isn't completely dead. Much, but not completely. We're still working on finishing Hidamari Sketch, how futile it might be... but honestly I haven't checked on any other projects.

ahem, I read in a random staff channel random talk about merging random groups since this one group was dead (i.e no translator).

It's been a long time since I've seen some of the great late 80s/early 90s anime parody fandubs. Stuff like Seishun Shitemasu, Cornpone, or Sherbert's fandubs. Seishun itself has a website, though it seems to have not been updated in three years.

I'm sure some fansub group out there has copies of some of this great stuff (like Voltron: Hellbent for Leather). So is there any chance they could make video files of them and offer torrents here? With the original groups that produced them seemingly long-gone, I think this may be the only way we get these out in a modern format.

Pretty sure Sachi subbed almost all of it... I had captures of the fansubs at one point. Look around, it shouldn't be too hard to find.

I know that some of the episodes had been subbed, but I just couldn't find a download link and the Sachi site no longer works. All I could find was the manga links.

Just wondering if anyone would sub the Bleach Rock Musicals.. The last one, No Clouds in the Blue Heavens still isnt subbed, and the backstage scenes for the earlier musicals too (except for Saien) hasnt been subbed too...

Ashes merged into Baka-Wolf and Genjo I think are having staff-problems.
