Most Awkward relationship ever (not including Brother sister or cousin cousin) is Sousuke Sagara and Kaname Chidori.
the amount of opportunities Sousuke has had and he still hasn't capitalized yet is unbelievable plus all the stuff that happens between them is absolutely hilarious.

Mind to explain why they are so exceptionally hopeless? You made me curious but i'm not sure i want to get throught 26 anime episodes just for that (the synopsis didn't catch my attention).

Eh, it's been a few years since I saw it, and since I made that comment. I remember the protagonist is repeatedly rejected by the girl and spends a good deal of time crying on his bed. Suzuka seems to like him but is denying herself; he goes out with another girl he doesn't really even like... their timing is always off; lots of annoyances and misunderstandings... I just remember the anime being really obnoxious, and the ending was lackluster. This is all vague recollection, mind you.

In b4 "read the manga." Anyways, I would like to add some moments in True Tears (orz the song) and the play in Clannad.

Usually harem romances are very sketchy. The ONE person they fall in love with has one major problem physically or mentally. Either that, or they do not really love them for deep, long-lasting reasons.
The most WTF version of this would be Chiziru/Kouta. How the hell are they in love exactly? |

For an older couple with relationship problems, I offer Balsa and Tanda from Seirei no Moribito. She's a childhood friend (aren't they all in anime?) who's taken up the spear to work as a bodyguard for hire. He's a pharmacist and healer who's better around the house.

HI, BILLY MAYS HERE

The anime has 26 episodes, the manga has 18 volumes...
Choose your length of torture... I even bought half the manga series; What's that they say about regrets? Kanako and Keitaro from Love Hina As one-sided as it was for Kanako, it was still that "Brother-sister, but we're really not blood-related" in-name-only creepy shit that seems to be the closet niche buried somewhere in the anime/manga community, as previously mentioned in this very thread... It's perfectly legit, but it's not legit when one calls another their sibling while crawling into their pants, no matter how legit it could be... |
