before I realised my mistake, I've completely messed up the background spirals I wanted. By then, I'm too far into inking to forfeit.

Here it is anyway.

As always, any comments/critique are appreciated.

I'm liking this new pick, that background is wild.

WOW!
I really like his face and the pose aswell. You can feel the picture moving!
And I agree the background is wild. You´re really skilled at incing!

on a scale of 1-10 (1 being shit and 10 being professional), rate it in terms of how I handled the proportions, the dimension, and the layout.

This is a picture I did quite a while ago. The image quality is pretty crap because I had to transfer it into my computer using my digital camera.

If you feel like commenting, please give me more opinions regarding how I handled body posture/proportions.

I use the Staedtler Pigment Liners. They've got good ink quality and hand control.

They are darned expensive though. Anyone wanna recommend some cheap, durable and smooth inking accessories?

faber-castell pitt artist pen, pretty good indian ink, available with plastic brush tip, quick dry on paper. unfortunately i can't find this with 0.05mm tip (so far only copic does). the rest... sakura markers. Though lately I've been using the brush pen more and more due to my inking style (dictates presence of light and dark)...

I realise that a samurai girl isn't a very innovative idea, but drawing it has been fun for me.

This time I'd like some comments on how well I depicted the ethereal nature of the wraith.

really awesome! The wraith is well done, and looks really great. The girl is good too, but maybe her (her left being our right) eye is a little too far from her nose, making the eyes slightly too far apart. But still, with any other small errors, it's really well done, and clean too Gotta love clean drawings.

I've been trying to recondition myself to produce works that are more concious of proper facial proportions. This is one of the resultant sketches.

http://img16.exs.cx/img16/6753/KITSCH-1.jpg

This sketch shows improvement to the eyes problem plaguing my previous works. However, I'm not sure whether the eyes are actually in their proper distance from one another. Please look at it and tell me if the eyes still stand out as being too far apart in this drawing. Also feel free to comment on anything you find anatomically incorrect.
