Shigure fanservice chapter.

She could have defeated/killed him quickly if she is the Dou type. Instead she made things difficult for herself by trying to defeat him without seriously hurting him. He gave up because there's still some honor left in him despite being a member of Yami.

Most of the Yami masters we've met up till now have placed a high value in honor (at very least honor in combat).

In fact, you could say their take on honor is even more extreme than those of Ryozanpaku in some ways.

I really enjoyed reading this chapter. It is interesting to know that there are members of YAMI that go by an honor code. The joust match was interesting to watch and I like how the knight surrendered on principle. Also, with all the armor and boobs, is the mangaka hinting on a furture project.

Well, with one Master battles done, which one will be next before the main event? Will it be the Akisame/Ma match up with the samurai or the Sakaki match with the spearman? I am hoping that the Sakaki/Spearman fight is amusing since both were pretty much getting on each other's nerves when they started fighting.

lol, poor Ma, it looks like he injured his right arm from being so tense during the game with Akisame. Though I understand his frustration at the time, Samurai Girl is pretty hot.

Even though I'm not sure what they say, she seems to be quite the Blood Knight type character, which goes against Akisame's initial impression.

He was still riding his horse, is it because he dropped his lance? Oh, and one more thing that I like is that Matsuena adresses the fact that it'll be so much easier for Shigure to just target the horse (I keep thinking that as I read the chapter), the answer is funny but very fitting to Shigure's character. One master down, 4 more to go!

Spoiler for Chapter 388: I can't read Japanes, but I'm guessing here, Ma realize that the Samurai Akisame is going to fight is an attractive woman, so he wants to change, but Akisame doesn't want to, so they start a scissor-rock-paper contest, it seems that Ma, Sakaki and Apachai always use paper and Akisame simply use scissors.
