I actually found this yesterday and have yet to read it fully. Or at all.

I opened up a random chapter and it was a foreign princess trying to set-up that the protagonist raped her (or was in the act), being a problem since they're both royalty, the protag himself being emperor.
They had a long back and forth over crap like he could probably write it off as her attempting an assassination on him (it kinda is, in a social way) but resulted in her becoming his wife being the best course of outcome due to him simply caring about his reputation way too much. Apparently he has plans for her mother country to begin with but now isn't the time for that.
Plus while she doesn't like his personality, apparently his face is her type. Hah.
I imagine it has more political fun times like this, especially since it's based on the Byzantine Empire.

Also, he has some contract with some being that allowed him to forcefully sexually excite the girl during this process.
I only read half of a random chapter but it was pretty fun. Stopped myself to start from the top at some point.

So that amused me enough to bookmark it to get back to it later.

As surprising as it is, nope. This time the modern day knowledge seems to mostly be restrained to reasonable levels and he wasn't a high schooler who got run over by a truck. Also not really reincarnated...

Yeah, i agree, while those are good in their own way, compare too much done nothing good, other series who don't have their translation is hard to catch up with what's already there
