The main site confirms 26 episodes, and I'd put more trust into their info rather than ANNs.

No offense, but are you watching DTB for the story/characters or just the hot guys? Not that I don't like the hot guys too...anyway, ep 12 was very good. Always great to see a little bit more of Hei's past, and the appearance of amber was a very surprising moment, though, it had to happen sometime. Also, as of next week the OP and ED change, and that is always exciting. Seeing Yin before she became a doll will definitely be an interesting plot point for the series, as well as how she meet Hei and the rest. Can't wait for next thrusday :3.

No, there is not offense , and no, im not watching just for hot guys, its for the story, always is the story. And yes, you are right, i forgot, next week OP and ED will change!! that its cool!! And, yes again you are right, its a good plot to see Yin become a doll.. maybe some questions for the main plot will be answered... but.. i will miss Hei , beause i suspect that we will see him just for a couple minutes

Episode 13 was DA BOMB! 8)

So, how should I put it? In before Neko Mimi Mode Yin! In before It Ain't Over Until the Fat Lady Sings!

This was a Yin episode, but you could have just as easily called it a Mao episode, by the amount of expressive mimics that cat was producing.

Anyway, the police and our gang are both following the activities of two Contractors. When Yin and police mediums spy on them, one of the Contractors reveals his power to steal souls.

He short-circuits Yin (as well as police eyes-and-ears) who suddenly looses all of her memories as Yin and starts regaining memories of her life as Kirsi, a Finnish girl who played piano with her blond Finnish teacher and her blond Finnish mom. She has a brief flashback to something happening to her mother, but beyond that, we see little of Kirsi.

As Hei and gang search for Yin, that same teacher arrives in Tokyo and hires Detective Gai and Flatchest-chan to find Kirsi. Which they suddenly do. But when Flatchest is looking away, Yin sneaks out (though, she still doesn't understand what's going on) and once again bumps into the contractor who has stolen her memories.

The guy tries to grab her, but Hei and Mao intervene and almost save Yin until the guy's partner, a somewhat rotund lady, uses her power of singing voice to shatter the whole construction site where they are fighting. Hei bravely saves Yin, but has to get away before he is spotted, so Yin is once again found by Gai and the music teacher. He calls out to his Kirsi, but she doesn't remember him, so Flatchest thinks of an idea of going to hot springs (I think I got that right) so that Kirsi would regain her memories there.

Meanwhile, Huang chews out Hei and Mao for failing to get Yin back.

Surprisingly, this was a really nice episode to watch, both for Yin's misadventures with Flatchest-chan and for the seriousness that has enveloped the other team. Gai and his girlfriend aren't as annoying as before and Yin's past reveals a very cute girl lurking under all that steely Ruri persona.

No Amber this time. No Pai. No Kirihara.

from the looks of it this ep seems to have a mix of humor, seriousness and action wrapped into one ~ i wonder what her state of mind is after being taken away by her former teacher...and what will happen if she manages to remember about the past...

Ah, for one thing, I don't think Yin has lost her memories as Yin. I think she just can't recognize places without her spirits.

i really liked this ep for the constant change of mood (which although pretty tiring makes the show all the more enjoyable...) ~ its just great to see mr big detective back and on another humourous collision course XD
