But they are not being revived. Each game takes place in a different world or "game board". The events of each game are final and time proceeds on after that weekend in October even though we don't see it. Meta!Battler is just a ghost of Battler from the first game.

And, though it's already been said many times in discussion threads and this thread ... I'll say it again ... magic in the real world is not the same thing as magic in the meta!world/purgatory. A person can believe in the afterlife while not believing in vampires, for example. That's what Battler's position essentially is. His job is not to deny the existence of all magic, but to reveal that Beatrice's magical explanations of the events on Rokkenjima as being a sham.

the sin is not said, some of us are not even sure which batler is the one who commited the sin.

about ange's death it is not confirmed, it's only confirmed that she she in the king of fighters 1998, there are three main theories; one is that she died along with kyrie in a shotout, another is that amakusa killed her thus managing to off bot the ushiromiya and the sumadera families and have okonogi gain the power of both families; the third theory simply states that she survies the visit to rokkenjima and kills herself later by jumping off a building again.

The Witch Hunt has a patch for running it on Macs, so I'm guessing so.

It certainly does run on Macs... chronotrig uses a Mac, for one.

I definietly never heard this. Is there a source you have?

I'm just as shocked as June 1983 is. Since the death of Geneon they haven't really touched Kai, even though they said they would. Plus they tend to dub very popular series and Umineko's sales aren't exactly stunning.

Ok, so Umineko season 1 finally ended. Imagine I know NOTHING about Umineko except that it is the next series of When They Cry (being more or less unrelated to Higurashi). The reviews on this forum have been....underwhelming, so I have two questions.

1. Is it worth my time to download the series and spend 12 hours of my life watching Umineko?

2. Is there enough material in Umineko Chiru for any chance at a second season? From the sound of it, the ending for season 1 was abysmal.

2. EP 6 was only recently released so no. If DEEN does adapt the 'core' arcs it'll be much later on.

^After playing EP 5 I kind of wish they would make them into multi-part OVAs. That would probably be too expensive though.
