Well, Party-Face (the dude of SCHOOL that cut things in half) was BTFO. Well, maybe he can be win to Mugino with a more caution. Bad for him. Is a shame that we don't have the table of characters of the LN when a participant of this conflict was defeated or dead. That would be a good detail. So much for JC. Hamazura would the entertaining and I only hope Kakine to have a little more of budged for fuck sake.

Well this season is definitely rushed for sure. This episode's content could be split into 2. And the first 3 episode could've been better with 4 episodes. Can't say i enjoy how they are making 6 episodes worth of content into 4 episodes.

If the PV is to be trusted, it's because they want to end on volume 20, hence a possible explanation for the cramming.

(Though my gut feeling is that we are going to be cucked.)

It is a very short arc but this ep still plays out more like a literal summary of events than anything else. It's flat and lacks any tension and suspense whatsoever since the transitions are so abrupt

At least Mugino and co are there else the whole ep would be pretty lifeless

Is this 1 or 2 cour?

Don't you think you're exaggerating when a good portion of what occurs here is 1:1 to what happens in the LN? It only feels longer in the LN because movement is also being explained to the reader.

Not really.

My point is not the length but the direction of the ep. The screenplay doesn't create anything more than "this happened, then that happened" etc. It doesn't matter if it's 1:1 and in fact may be worse since written medium is very different from animated. For one, you don't have the benefit of imagining and processing a scene when watching a show unlike in a book so doing only a barebones interpretation in animated format won't leave the same level of impression

Then they should be able to afford more than 2 eps per vol for certain arcs no? Hopefully vol 15 isn't concluded in the next ep

It probably wont be, they will give each book 3/4 episodes i guess. Which still gives enouh time to adapt all of the books even past volume 20.
