Honestly, what's the difference between the replica and the original? Is it just the price value? (Just by looking at it)

Meh, is it worth getting this?

Should I get this or the Clayz (non-armored) version? I agree, the facial expression seems a bit odd (compared to the anime) while Clayz looks pretty good in comparison, not to mention the price value is affordable.

Bootlegs and originals sometimes are really close. You know these figures are produced in china and then they are sold from japan. some items fail the test for quality and are sold from china for lower price. anyway the auction was correct the seller tricked you.

I have a lot of saber and the one with the most weird facial expression is actually the most beautiful (the goodsmile one). the clayz one is good but lacks of detail and painting is not always good. check my site if you want to take a look at them.

I recently purchased this and I was wondering if this one is also a replica of the real model. The battle armor on the skirt part looks a bit too high and the seller is from Hong Kong, so I'm just wondering if it is also a replica because it was sold for cheap.

And in regards to the face, it's the lighting of the room that gives the figure a different perspective.

Isn't the armor adjustable?

well I have three bootlegs and two of them are really close to the original while the other one is very bad. for the first two they have some only different details from original (eyeleash or hair strand), but all of them have painting defects. one of them bended completely probably due to cheap material used.

Well, it's all good. I'd rather have a replica (which is near perfect) then pay 150 for the "real" version. I'm rather money-conservative.

However, if mine supposedly breaks, bends, or such within a short time, I'll "try" to buy the real one haha.

oh yeah, could you confirm if the armor IS adjustable?

who knows. if it is some sort of defect of shape or size, no. if it only came off, pvc can easily be fixed with super glue.

So, I ended up cancelling the supposedly "fake" version of the ebCraft Saber and bought myself the "real deal" version. It costed me a grand total of 205 dollars. Yes, it was pricey but temptations were high and I couldn't hold myself back.

Oh, I found the Good Smile 1/8 Saber figure (http://cgi.ebay.com/Fate-stay-night-...QQcmdZViewItem)
The price is just way too much, however, considering that it's no where to be found in retail stores, I suppose it's plausible. I really want it. I'll probably buy it once my credit limit increases and when I get paid.

maybe 205 is a bit high but having the real thing is totally different.

goodsmile saber is very good but I paid 70 dollars for her. I know she's sold for 200 $ right now but it seems a bit exagerated to me. I am still searching for goodsmile rider but she is sold for 200$ and is not on the same level as gsc saber

The Rider figure is actually sold for 294 bucks haha. There's no way in hell I'll buy that unless the seller reduces it buy 75 percent. :P

Will there be a re-issue of the Goodsmile Saber anytime soon?
