Merge Ordered Chapters

I have been at this for a few days now. I have tried splititng files etc. But for some odd reason whenever I add the "linked" file it doesn't get put in properly.

Is there another way to do it besides splitting the file and then merging it back with mkvmerge?

I appreciate any help, thanks!

I should note I did try to find another release by a different group but no one else has done it.

What is "put in"?
What is "properly"?
Don't be so vague!

Um..i think stating merge and ordered chapters explains it. Merging a linked file together in the proper order without issue.

I'm asking for details because you are obviously doing something wrong. You haven't even mentioned what's not working exactly. "Merging" can mean a lot of things, e.g. simply muxing as additional track. You have to use appending. You can also not simply use the original chapters, they have to be edited. Depending on the files a simple append might also break playback and require re-encoding.

What release are we talking about anyway?
