K-ON should not be the standard, since that was a massively successful phenomena based on the manga and such.

I also have to think the show's writers will give the poor kid at least some kind of opportunity at some point. Tamako Market is really into wistfulness, but for Mochizou to be continually frustrated would be just too cruel, I think, for the show's warmhearted vibe.

I don't know if we'll really get anywhere romantically in terms of an explicit confession or anything even close to that, but I think there will be at least some movement in his favor. That might not be saying much, but I think it'll happen. Tamako asking for a birthday gift from *him* specifically also makes me wonder if she isn't *quite* as oblivious as she appears.

IMO, K-On was a success because of its OP, ED, cast and Moe Moe Kyun.

From the look of things here, Suzaki Aya doesn't seem like the next Hirano Aya nor Toyosaki Aki.
