Of course they will pick main characters, it's the safe option, like look @ Gon for Hunter X Hunter even though Killua has been smashing him in official manga polls for years and years.

Hope they at least get to add some "villain" characters to the roster, save the important/more popular 2nd characters for a future update.

I wonder Urameshi has his demonic blood transformation here. Would be cool too see SSj3 Goku blond vs a long spiked haired Urameshi.

I'd imagine we'd get characters like Vegeta, another Strawhat/villian, or even someone like Sasuke. Y'know... unless they plaaaan DLC~

They would be a selling point for a sequel... personally would like to see hero+villain for this version and than add people like Killua. Heck I'll rather take 3 members of HxH over Gon but he is the main character so can't do nothing about it.

I expect the main characters who can't fight like Light Yagami to appears as tutorial guys.

I would like Killua, Sasuke or Rukia but it's better gathering as many series as possible.

Gintoki's kick is actually from the manga. It's the ultimate technique his sword wanted to teach him so he could have flashy moves in video games, thigh buster.

No new characters revealed in Jump this week?

This game does not look very impressive so far. They need to be doing a lot more to generate hype from the fans. Let's see more characters revealed already and more info on the actual gameplay.

this is one of the games that Namco Bandai's gonna showcase on TGS
so I guess you'll have to wait a bit longer

I'm somewhat worried that with the pace that they're revealing characters, that the roster won't be that massive.

Usually with a game like this, they have an Arcade Mode of some sort where they always fight off that characters "rival". Though... honestly... I could care less about Zebra being added...

So perhaps every franchise will have the main hero and rival/villain as representatives making up the roster? It's looking that way right now.
