You're talking to the guy who, not having to "defend" a Sunrise trainwreck from criticisms this season, has nothing better to do except to return to his old habits of bashing on the next KyoAni show. Just leave him be.

Best episode yet, 9/10 for me. This pretty much cemented my conversion to Yui being my favorite character of the show.
My highlights: Spoiler for Ep. 4 Spoilers:
Regarding the girls' music skills, I don't see why it should be a big deal. I figure the girls' skills will be as good as is needed for any given part of the story, which is fine considering this is far from being a serious series about music. If that's something people want to nitpick I guess they're welcome to do so, but it's really not the point of this show. I am thoroughly enjoying this show so far, even moreso after having read some scanlations of the first manga chapter. Is this the best show this season? Highly unlikely. Is it enjoyable nonetheless? Absolutely, so long as you can suspend your disbelief regarding their musical skills.

Fan service aside I actually really liked this episode, up until now I hadnt really liked Mio as a character, the irrational fear of everything has never really endeared me to her and I still think its lazy writing in order to get the character sympathy but this episode we actually saw real character development.
Mio and Tsumugi's scene was pitch perfect, we actually got to learn a little about who the characters were. I'm looking forward to seeing more development of Yui and Ritsu, though they were hilarious in this episode. As for the music in the show, we'll probably just have to wait for the final episode to see the amazing preformance. |

Episode 4 is a vast improvement from the last three episodes and one of the most enjoyable beach scenes... I seen so far.
