I can see Kaede becoming Blue Rose's sidekick. Blue Rose and Cherry Blossom/Red Sakura/White Sakura/Pink Sakura. Kaede could just as likely join the minor league heroes, too. She's extremely powerful already and would pair up with Blue Rose quite well. The Tomboy and Girly Girl duo.

The underlying theme of the show seems to be "You never know who'll cross your path."

The scarf girl, the elevator saboteur in the early episodes, Yuri, Mr. Legends private life, Kaede and Kotetsu's relationship, Barnaby and Maverick's relationship. Kaede was unaware that her father was a hero. Barnaby never knew the man that crossed his path everyday as a father figure killed his parents.

I can see scarf girl bumping into Kotetsu or Barnaby in the final scene with mutual blushing by both and then Kotetsu/Barnaby inviting her to a cup of coffee.

She seems destined to be a superhero girlfriend. It's only fitting the series would end with her meeting her Clark Kent.

Holy FUCK someone else might have brought it up already but it just occurred to me that:

Spoiler for KAEDE:

Ok someone did bring it up, I'm stupid.

Still, the potential is pretty cool :3

Wait. Does she actually need to touch someone to absorb their powers? Then, where did she get the "Magneto" powers? Hmmm... Not to mention the fact that the family actually found out the real power way too fast, eh?

Does Kaede's power change every time she touches a different Next, or does she accumulate all the powers she encounters? Also, is the acquired power temporary, like Rogue in X-Men?

If she does continually accumulate them, then she would be the most powerful Next in the world. Well, just with this power alone, she is very powerful; however, if the power switches every time she touches another Next, it is actually a handicap. She will have to adjust and get used to each one right away, and it could be a power that is not useful for her at a particular moment.

Tiger & Lunatic? NOT gonna happen.

Great, now I've learned nothing whatsoever after I've been posting some Q&As about it like:

- Did Kotetsu finally retrieved his Wild Tiger Armor suit back? as we seen on preview? Or is it someone else?

- Who's created an impostor Wild Tiger anyway? Could it possibly a return of Rotwang from EP15!?Or maybe it was Saito himself?

Anyhow, awesome episode.

Spoiler for Who's in the...:
Origami still can only transform. He has no superhuman strength or durability. He could look like he's made of steel, but he'd still be flesh.

Still, I think you're right in that he's an underachiever. With his stealth, he could be lot scarier, especially against other Next who aren't particularly durable.

Yeah. Also gotta admit, even if the poor guys are brainwashed, the Heroes know how to make an entrance.

When you consider how the Tiger 2.0 outfit is not even same color as Wild Tiger's cybernetic outfit, I think there's going to be a few members of the public who will realize that something's a miss and, if there's a confrontation between Wild Tiger in his old outfit and Tiger 2.0, would realize that Tiger 2.0 is a fake and will end up rooting for the real Wild Tiger instead.
Why? He can just claim Kotetsu has a copy of the costume (not extraordinarily hard to make) and that the real Tiger had a costume change (actually true).

Kotetsu has a good plan here. The heroes will definitely recognize him based on his old costume, and his recklessness. Even seems like Barnaby is frustrating to remember since he did see Kotetsu in that costume as well.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is the problem I've been having with the second half of this series: the show is basically going the same route that Mai HiME went (i.e. lighthearted first half, dark second half), and that pretty pretty much brought that show down for me IMO.

Oh sure, add more suspicion that's something fishy is going on. Face it, there has to be at least one "smart" in Sternbild City who can tell that something's not right with Hero TV (pardon my use of pro wrestling terms, but the way Hero TV is going, it definitely needs that type of comparison).

Also, let's not forget that even if he does wear a mask to keep his identity a secret to regular people, I'm sure most people will at least be familiar with the uncovered portions of Wild Tiger's facial features (thanks to him being around Barnaby for a decent amount of time). Given how Kotetsu is back to his old outfit, these features would be visible. Again, a person with obvious visible features wearing his old suit would be a more likely person to believe to be the true Wild Tiger than someone that is completely covered in a battle suit.

They already believe he's a Wild Tiger wannabe. As the security guard pointed out last week, with the right mask and beard, it could be anyone!

But then again, would you just lend your old hero costume to some stranger in the streets? Wild Tiger was never that popular to begin with for people to make pre-made costumes of his old version. Heck, he was even known for his reckless bashing of the environment which made him unpopular with the crowd.

No, but the fake could make it himself. How hard can it be?

OFF TOPIC:- Yeah, to me that I did watched Sunrise shows. But sometimes it gets too excited & gets me on my nerves. Hell, why can't they changed the next episode preview music into some kinda dark & serious like they did on Gundam 00? Or like this one:-

The BGM that's being used when Yuri makes his entrance is utterly badass.

In fairness to Maverick, I think he was banking on Kotetsu going down hard and fast; that Kotetsu would be caught off-guard (and quickly subdued and captured) due to the sudden shock of none of his coworkers remembering him at all.

It's a reasonable expectation on Maverick's part, and is the main reason why I don't consider his plan completely dumb. It is full of holes, but those holes likely won't matter if Kotetsu gets taken down hard and fast.

Now, my (possible) disappointment with Maverick is that he doesn't seem to have any backup measures for Kotetsu lasting awhile and mounting a serious counter-offensive. To a certain degree, Maverick's caliber as a major antagonist will be determined by whether or not he has some tricks left up his sleeve, imo.

On the Lighthearted 1st Half vs. Dark 2nd Half argument - The episode that delved into Lunatic's backstory worried me a bit here, but what we're seeing now is not all that dark. I mean, yes, Kotetsu is going through a hellish situation right now, but many superhero stories are like that. How dark it is depends on how the situation ultimately resolves itself. And I think most of us are confident that Kotetsu will get a bittersweet ending at worst. So, the level of darkness here doesn't bother me personally.
