The T-44 can bounce off the hull, a bit. The turret doesn't bounce much at all, especially from the sides, and the rear of the turret is all ammo.

So yeah, be sneaky.

I had the opposite experience before 8.9 people always crossed the bridge and after the patch they stopped doing that and usually always winning.

Is it just me that has RIDICULOUS lag problems with WOT servers?

It happens very specific to a situation too, and consistently: I start the match low ping, hopeful, and then at first encounter in a close combat situation -- when I bloody well need a smooth game the most -- it positively exploded in an embarrassment of lags and the rest of the game is a mess until I die or the enemies nearby get wiped out because I'm just that good I win duels on crazy high pings.

Came back and played again first time in months -- and my winrate was wrecked. No shit, Wargaming, I can't fucking aim, much less dance, in an E8 with a 400+ ping. And yes, the rest of the internet is fine.

I'm out until shit gets fixed. :/

P.S. I suck at Patton. If I come back around, know that I always categorically welcome a tier 9 platoon. Always. No matter what. I need it. I suck, suck, suck at Patton. Being a big, light, thinly armored medium in an age of overpowered bullshit TDs (okay, did anyone inform WOT which category of armored vehicles survived history? kthx) is hard; being one with the low-pen undergunned Pershing gun is hell on earth.

EDIT: Dug around the WOT forums. And, yup, it ain't me. [later posts in this thread all traced the issue to an ISP used by Wargaming]

Ah, well, I guess I'll never get that T-54 I promised to get for someone. I don't like being mistreated by arrogant game companies.

I almost got everything the guns(Except the 90mm gun, suspension and the turret). Any advice how to play this? Please include skills and perks too

You need the 90mm gun. 76mm Hellcat is kinda, like a Wolverine but with no armor. For Hellcat, never get spotted. Nearly every player cannot shoot what they cannot see. Speed is your best armor, you always have to stay one step ahead and use the 72kph to be wherever the enemy says "If an enemy were here, I'd be so screwed."

Sorry if I sound vague. But you really need the 90mm gun. The suspension helps alot because it increases speed.

On the bright side, my Hellcat crew finally got Sixth Sense up.

I suppose my Hellcat approaches should either be to rush out to forward positions early and then fall back behind the lines once engaged, or fight of every urge to rush ahead at all and stay entirely second-line... which is what I do with the Jackson, except the Hellcat can swing better.

There's barely enough cover for three tanks if you try defending the bridge, and one of those isn't arty safe. Tanks that rely on gun depression are pretty fucked as well. If you go into the valley you have much better opportunities to actually use all of your heavies to good effect.

Figuring that the gold prices in the bundle won't be much less than their usual cash value, these are all rather expensive wrappers for the 220. I could do the renewal of the year of premium a little early, but that's also unlikely to be discounted in this bundle, and maybe they'll do a premium time discount around Christmas.

As far as the 220 itself goes, I can see it being a Steel Wall farm, but argh with the slow tanks with the bad guns.

I don't have the Lowe or the PzB2... oddly enough getting the PzB2 is slightly more interesting to me, but usually it's attached to that other thing.
