Well, her being pissed off is pretty understandable in this case, since that's the same episode description from the DVD cover.

Spoiler for Summary:

• First, Hayate gets hired over Mirage's (sole) objection.
• Second, because she was the only one who voiced an issue with him, Mirage gets assigned as his trainer, which probably seems like a hardship/punishment detail to her.
• Third, to make the situation worse, Hayate skives off on training whenever he feels like it, which probably feels like disrespect to both her and the job.

Because of this it seems like Mirage probably challenges him to a mock dogfight to put him in his place- and then probably gets her ass handed to her. So yeah, no smiling Mirage on the horizon for quite some time. Edit: Speculation on the outcome of the dogfight is just speculation; we haven't actually seem much of it yet, though Mirage seems pretty stressed in the cockpit and at some point it looks like Hayate manages to put his jet in a stall.

Ep3 already has me liking all three characters equally. Hayate is willing to learn, Freyja is supportive and even Mirage is getting to be more understanding. Heck Hayate and Frejya's natural interactions with each other, is going to make this an interesting triangle to watch if it just added to the guessing of which ending we are going to get.

As expected from Ainz-sama, the wisest mind in Nazarick. I wonder what is Ainz-sama planning in this universe as a shota?

Yeah, it's impossible to hate Freyja or Mirage and both of them have a real chance to win the triangle, not just one-sided love competition.

Walkure and the Delta Platoon would already expect that they might strike again. However, they couldn't identify who they are yet.

Anyway, the aerial knights don't know that Freyja, a Windermeran, joined the tactical sound unit, so there will be surprises for both sides.

She might have initially hated it, she later enjoyed herself throughly. Its like she used Hayate as an excuse to vent all of her frustrations.
