A vast majority of the manga was the personal rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke, and in every encounter either the fight didn't happen or Naurto lost. For all the build up for it to end like that probably fake spoiler was suggesting would be majorly annoying.

I too hope it's strictly between Naruto and Sasuke. I'd be pretty angry if Sakura got in the way and that spoiler should remain fake.

Chapter was awesome. I love a good beat down and pure physical. It sort of reminded me of Black Star vs Mifune 3.

Yeah, probably is. I mean it can't be too hard to draw the characters with beaten up faces and look convincing, lol.

I figured it was fake, but I only chimed in because it looked like some of the forum-goers DIDN'T figure it was fake and were starting to cry "RUINED FOREVERRR!!!!1!!"

haha! it's not a bad drawing, but it's not kishi's quality. especially not for a chapter at the end of the series

Kind of a side comment, but is anyone else upset that Kirin never got a second appearance? (At least, I do not recall a second appearance.) It was a pretty cool technique, and I was excited to see what Sasuke could do with it after he gained some form of Amaterasu. Alas, it faded into the ether from which it came.

Why using kirin if he has s-class amaterasu/PS/genjutsu/etc.?

Im sad, yes, but in the current powerlvl, kirin is useless, at least, until sasuke gains the power to change weather and use it everywhere at anytime :/

PS: i think im the only one, but i really Liked the scene with sakura punching sasuke, it would redeem her char for me, who wouldnt want this? Team "useless" shows that Teamwork is stronger than the "Power of Solo"

I think james was implying it would have been a more powerful version of kirin than we had ever seen. like most techniques, it would get more advanced every time a character uses it

I would have also liked to see kirin again. it seems like an easy technique to upgrade as well. not sure why kishi ignored it

Kirin is still the fastest and one of the most powerful techniques in the entire series. At 1/1000 of a second it could defeat almost any character; and it's sheer power could rival that of a Bijuu. And the fact that it can destroy even Susano'o means it could have still been useful against someone like Madara (though maybe not Tobi). Plus, the fact that the attack needed some set-up instantly made it more interesting than the vast majority of attacks seen in the series. And as itachi-san314 wrote, the technique could have been upgraded in a variety of interesting ways.

(And yes, I would love for Sakura to intervene and knock some sense into these boys overblown pissing contest.)

To be fair...it's mostly just Sasuke being an idiot here, Naruto is pretty much just defending himself.

new chapter is out and lawd omg , this ending , the bandage in the movie make sense now .. but i know they can reattach stuff lol tsunade been cut and she all fine .. i just think his hands will be burned from the black flame

Well now.....that's quite an ending there. Sure they can put the arm back on, assuming it's still intact, though I guess is Tsunade can come back from being torn in two halves this can be undone too. Still rather symbolic, the blood from their severed arms mixing like that.
