I don't care if it takes 5 yrs, I can't wait! What an awesome production...The team that put together the scenery and controlled the marionettes need awards...Don't know what organization gives out awards for animated puppet worlds, but give them that $hit post haste...

it was such a great show that I forgot this was a puppet show fight was really good and effects were fantastic. I am so glad I didn't drop the show thinking puppets would be boring ��

Laughed when we found out that during the whole season, we spent all this time trying to get one sword back and Shang goes "yea I have all of the special swords from my country with me" He only used one, but I was expecting some Gate of Babylon epicness.

Kind of sweet how the Can Yun and the Dan Fei got together in the end, though he should go back to his spear lol.

Since just one sword, it was enough to overpower the Demon God with ease...

It's kinda explained already, the Demon Gods are immortal, or rather there's no concept of life and death to them. You can't kill them, even if you destroy their physical form, they'll just return in a new form. Unless of course Shāng has a soul destroying sword.

Well, he does have a sword in there that can take control of the souls of the ones it killed.

Then again it has to actually kill it first.

This puppet series is putting some of the recent live action wuxia films to shame. I am a bit suprise at how much of the wuxia genre Urobuchi grokked. Then again given things like Fate/zero he probably grew up with that influence.

Happy this is getting a sequel. May it have continued success.

That's necessary for these kinds of stories. Government's non-existence means you need OP heroes to prevent society from collapsing into Mad Max. It is basically Somalia, no laws to speak of. So life still goes on because there are enough good guys keeping the social order, without the presence of the police or the army.

She left. Since she is a demon it literally doesn't matter if she escaped or died in the explosion. Either way she will be back, because demons can't stay dead.

Her goal was to bring back the demon lord to kill humanity, she did the first part but the 2nd part failed. But since dolls are expensive they are almost never removed from the story without good reason. She will have to come back in the sequel or her whole design would be wasted.
