Freaking hole I've dug myself in. I'm down -25 games since this weekend. I'm thinking of just taking a break for a while from the game. Or maybe I need to platoon with the folk here again, as all of those games were pubs.

BIA doesn't really help my derp reloads. Its still 6.75 secs with or without BIA. Unless it doesn't really have any effects until you max it out into the 2nd perk.

You need to platoon more or maybe play it safe when you play.

Anyways to me Plating and Pubs makes no difference to me when I play.

Yes, since it is a Perk, it does nothing until it is at 100%. The moneyed alternative is to work an incremental skill such as Repair first, then once it hits 100% you swap it to BiA and then restart the incremental skill training.

If you do that for the 20K credits/90% XP option, you have to wait until the second skill is around 40% (IIRC) to keep the first skill at 100% when you do it.

Or pay WG money.

Took on five enemies head on and destroyed them, and then did a nice indirect fire on a T1 Heavy for Top Gun while blocking his shot for Spartan. This is Sumeragi-ryu!

I've found that I actually perform better in a platoon with folk here, as many of them know of my... predilections enough that they can cover for them.

The only problem I have is you go in too quick for me to catch up with you. You really need to slow your gears down. I know you want to kill everyone but you can't have them all.

I have a limited time where I can play. Also lag -- pings of 400 ms are common with me, given how I'm in SEA, and if I have everything on forward, obviously it would seem like I'm rushing.

I'm not going to play tonight. I've been having very bad lag spikes (ragging to 2000ms minimum) so i'll leave it for today.

We haven't done Tier 5 platoons, have we?

However, you did see me blitz through the north side of the Mannerheim Line, when you were in your Wespe. That's why your team was defeated.

I just got the final engine on my AMX50 and this thing goes fast with the 1000hp.

I suppose that I need to settle down now and get at least one of my grinds finished instead of chipping away at all of them at once.

But which?

T20 to Pershing with about 50000 XP remaining. (All modules researched.)
T29 to T32 with 98000 XP remaining. (All modules researched.)
IS to IS-3 with 67000 XP remaining. (D-25T not researched.)

I'm not including the Panther II to E-50 grind because it would take quite a bit more focus on it than I'm into right now. And over 100K XP. The grind for the final 105mm gun on the Tiger II would only take about 35000 more XP, but the 88 L/71 seems fairly wimpy when half the time I'm on the bottom rung of the matchmaker, so it's not really high up my list right now either.

Go for IS-3.

On the Königstiger: Use the short 10.5 cm gun, and focus on brawling (particularly urban regions). That'll help teach you how to handle the Königstiger to the best way possible. Wil can testify to how I've been able to basically destroy Type 59s and IS-3s in close combat.

I think someone was asking how the IS-7 would handle with the 1050 HP engine. It handles like crap compared to the T110E5. It's track friction figures for paved road is 1.3, which means it actually has 30% less horsepower on paved ground than what's actually displayed. (Most tanks have 1.1 on paved ground so they are actually losing about 10%) It's not as fast as the numbers seem to say.

For example, this is a really old video of the IS-7's mobility. It may or may not have gotten worse with physics and map updates making maps bumpier.

EDIT: Hmm, don't know how to add videos. D:

I actually got the engines, the final gun and I'm now researching the radio. Not sure if I'm going to research the two other guns (85 mm D5T-85BM, 100 mm D10T) I'm never going to use them but it would save some time if I ever decided to focus on the medium Russian line.
