if i remember right.
1. spirit shadow demon.(ancient demon good at stealth ops.
2. panda bear. this is the result he got after fusing thousands of demons. he get a panda(mt i think is right). a very lovable panda but with very bad temper(xd)
3. demon book page(this is not a spirit per se but affect all of his actions in cultivation, etc)
he has too a bunch of spirits fused , that he give them to yu zi, icy girl his brothers...,
i think when he level up to gold rank he will add some scary spirit to these two....
above legend i think was heavenly rank? idk cause mtl is bad like hell....

all of his spirit either his or what he give his friends are gold or upper level spirit(when someone gets a silver spirit they are truly afortunate....)

well, almost everything is correct but i just need to say a few things,

he is not faking about his butt, YuZi's father really spanked his butt for a few hours in a rage moment because of the way that he is trying to take his daughter and because he also lost the bet that allowed Nie lie to move to the house next door of her.

holy shit, the first time that Yu Zong (YuZi's father) and him meet is just too funny, he is trying to make a secret night's visit to her house and she started to panic because his father or some guard may see him so to make everything worse he take his clothes off and jump in hers bathroom and start take a shower but in the middle of the shower his father comes back and almost kill him because he is half naked in his house.

And about icy girl feelings, YuZi is trying to back down a let she have him but with her (Yuzi) Monologues is clear that she is starting to love him and because of a few things that happens in the chapter 170-180 she also offer his body to him but he refuse since he still does not have her heart .

so to make a resume, she likes him but is not enough to try to fight for him since she still want for her friend (icy girl) to be happy, but it this also changed a lot because of what happened in chapter 170-180.

because of the deal they make, Nie Lie gains 30% of the sales and the alchemist 70% so the two of them become are wealthiest people in the city but no one knows that Nie Lie is the one who gave them the recipe since he said to everyone that he have a "master" who is hiding in the city because he doesn't want the attention.
if you want to know how rich, is in the case of billions, since one pill cost from 150k - 2 millions and he have more hundreds of thousands but since he is not stupid they also control the supply to the people and because of that the price is always high, even the the strongest families have a quote that they can buy and no one say anything against it since the pills are just too good.
the pills are, 4 types of training pill each one are better than the next, the worse one is 150k and the strongest one is can go as high and 2millions, and the last one is a rebirth pill where it can heal you if you suffer a wound, and since they are fighting the beast this pill is the most precious pill and they are not even selling it , they only give a few ones for the people when they are fighting and because of that no one can go against them since this pill may save you life and you will really want to have one when you are fighting.
now about the relationship she really likes him, and they also got a little skinship since she asked him to sleep with her but everything was more like a teasing and she realized that he is just 13 years old and stopped the advances but with her "monologues" we know that if he asked her she would be with him without doubt, there is only two things that make her retreat, number one is because he is only 13 years old, the second is that everyone knows that he likes Ye Zi so she respect that.]

Everyone in the association is at most bronze tier in the previous life and when they are escaping together with the refugees they choose to become bait for the beast with some type of herb who can attract them to let the the others refugees escape, and the woman Xiao Ying (the girl, dont remember her name well) died shielding them against the beast, almost every member died that way, i dont remember well but it seems they make a human shield to try to stop the beasts.
now, about the sexy senior she try a lot to have/keep him and is even funny and adorable in some parts but he really does not like her and keep pushing her away hard. i

when i was reading this part a got the impression that Xiao Ning forced him to let her apply the lotion and he went more with the flow, since he is young after all.
that is why i replied you the last time, i dont got the impression that he was trolling her since he was forced to let her apply the lotion.

Holy shit, just read the last chapter, finally Nielie choose to leave the city to train, he will not go to get the demon book since the trade dark union had give him a time frame of 3 months to join them or die, and the dark trade union have 2 legend level and one of them is at the peak of legend level almost going to the next rank , so he choose to leave.
this chapter was just too good, and YuZi may finally start to go after him when he comes back,
The scene is really good, Nie Lie is at front of her Door wanting to say goodbye but she is not opening the Door because of the things that happened in the last chapters(will not spoil) and after a few hours he makes a letter for her and leave , when he leave she comes to open the door but only see the letter and when she start to read it and discover that he is leaving the city she start to cry.
the rest of the chapter is everyone receiving his letter, Du Zu, Xiao Ning etc.

I've read up to the newest chapter (188) with MTL, but have a question regarding his age and the timeline.

After chapter 188 there seems to be a new arc and he goes outside of the city to train/get fast stronger. I'm not really sure how much time in the story has bygone.

He starts as 13 year old boy with 5 or so soul force. After the two month bet he is arround 5xx, nearly silver rank. At the current moment, chapter 188, he is already gold rank. Also some of his friends/allies are also gold rank or nearly gold rank. This all happened in 2-3 months after the bet?

So he is a 13 year old with 6 months training is gold ranked and everybody accepts it. At the beginning of the story I got the feeling to reaching silver or even gold rank is a really big accomplishment. All the older students he meets are only bronze rank, but much older than him. He and his friends reach this lvl after half a year and nobody bats an eye?

Wasn't it mentioned that anybody who reaches gold rank raises his family to a aristocrat family, black gold to noble family and legendary to major family? So some of his commoner friends who reached gold rank are now aristocrats?

Now he goes training for 3 months and probably comes back as black gold or even legendary rank (because to fight dark guild boss). Isn't this progress far too fast, even with his previous knowledge or was there some bigger timeskip that I missed? He is after his return 13 years (or maybe 14 years) old and black gold/legendary rank and able to fight peak legendary enemies.

for chapter 188 he is 14 years old or almost 14, it seems since the start we have 8 months to 1 year, we don't have a real timeline we can explore yet, we only have a small time frame like, it was two months for the bet, then 1-2 month (normally would be one month but he stayed more since he is not going to school anymore),there is also a few months since he started to produce the pills with the alchemist etc.
so for a real timeline i would need to re read the entire story and i'm not going to do that.
to go from no rank to black gold rank when you have the right tools (cultivation techniques etc) is normal for a expert like him and his friends since we have a glimpse of the previous generation advance in ranks (in the stone tablet) in the "black world arc" where he went from bronze to black gold from 12-16 years old and legend at 20 years old and advanced for the next rank at 40, the thing we need to keep in mind is that Nielie stayed hundred thousand of years in the demon spirit book and he also traveled the entire world, so he know a lot more than the previous generation genius, and thus could advance fast, one of the things we will see in this new arc is about those techniques since the black trade union only gave him 3 months, and he said that he would need to at least archive legend rank to destroy them but this does not mean that he will go to legend level in 3 months since this is not his actual plan.
his actual plan is to become strong enough so that if the black trade union tries to attack him and the city they will also suffer great losses and thus they would not do so since it would be too risk.

Other thing that we need to know is that everyone in the city is weak is just because they lost most of the cultivation techniques and pills etc, and because of that is really difficulty for them to advance ,Nielie already said that the reason the black history started was because the empire had send more than 300 thousands legend level experts to fight the emperor beast (it may be the same beast who killed him or a new one was born later, we dont know.) and thus the war started, this can show the disparity between the current city and the past, since the city only have 2 legends now and they sees them almost as gods.
also Nielie already said that exists further ranks after legends, and he also was at least one two ranks further than legend when he died.
To finish, about his friend everyone in the city is in the dark about them since they are not going to school anymore and they are waiting for Yo Mo to come back to train them because they advanced to the "talent class" when they did the test at school , and Nielie gives everything they need, pills-monster core etc, so they are not in need for money and thus almost no one know that they are at late stages of silver rank- gold rank and they also have a lot of money because of some deals that NieLie did with their money when they are hunting sheeps.

at first was because she said that she wanted to become strong too, and if you think about it Nie Lie will definitely marry in the Yu family because of Yu zi, so his family will need to have another person to be the next head and we also have a lot of other things like everyone else she will be forced to train too and she also have a middle talent (don't remember the color of her soul) and the MAIN point is, in his previous life in the next 3-4 years the monster wave will come and kill everyone so if she can become strong enough to defend herself it would be good, plus she is not doing anything dangerous since every time that NieLie is going to do something he tell her to stay home and train.

well most of the people like Yu Zi , Xiao Ning etc, everyone who comes from a good family start to train before that they had to come to school, the only ones who does not train are the ones who are too poor to pay the school fees later on or who does not have any cultivation techniques passed on their family.
the main job of the city is to fight the monsters, that is the reason that if you have a powerful member on your family you can advance ranks on the hierarchy.
this will become more clear at later chapters.
